Re: Game Thread - Rams at Packers
Bottom post of the previous page:
Aaron Donald is not playing. He was on the sidelines in 2 crucial drives. He is 50%. Without him we become an average d. It is an average d against the best offense in the NFL. Not even fair. I though ad was healthy but that is Cleary not the case.luckenbill56 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2021, 3:16 pm I been telling you guys all season. This defense vastly overrated. This is a bunch of cream puffs.

Shutting them down? They aren't even slowing them down. They scoring everytime they get the ball. The rams d might as well not take the field. The bears made them punt more in week 17.Truth wrote: ↑January 16th, 2021, 3:17 pmRams defense is good against most QBs. But it's not shutting down Rodgers, Mahomes, that level of QB. No defense is.luckenbill56 wrote: ↑January 16th, 2021, 3:15 pm I been telling you guys all season. This defense vastly overrated. This is a bunch of cream puffs.
We are in an era of offensive football.
Rams D is trash today.
The rams D is getting clowned all over Twitter and rightfully so.

Yeah, because if we're gonna fake the game, it's better to make it REALLY obvious by giving up a 70 yard run.clevelandrams wrote: ↑January 16th, 2021, 3:18 pm See that..the Rams defense purposely didn't even try to grasp and tackle him on the long run..it's too obvious.

I said 37-17 Packers in the prediction threat. It's certainly trending that way at this point.

We are being completely owned on both trenches. 15 points is a 2 possession game but if they score now it will be 3 possession and the game is over.

Its over. Good luck establishing a run game when the rams d stinks. They are just keying off now. The rams ol miss a stunt.

It seems like forever since our offense scored on consecutive drives.

Re: Game Thread - Rams at Packers
We can lose ok. But I don't wanna be embarrassed. Make this a fucking game and make them earn their victory with a last minute drive. I would be OK with that. But I am not ok losing 40-13. Wtf. The jets game and losing to the 49ers backups are enough for one season. Fuck this

You have to be able on second down to get around the DE as a QB and by time to complete a pass instead of throwing it away.

Re: Game Thread - Rams at Packers
Guys, there are no GREAT defenses in the league in this era. Stats say one thing, but this is an era where defense is an after thought. Hope Goff lives through this? Everyone thought Goff would play poorly. Everyone assumed the defense would carry the day. I never thought with Donald or not they were that good. Donald is one guy. Healthy or not. Now the offensive line gets to show warts and all. If Bortles is healthy get hin out threre. I do not see any reason for Goff to get hurt any worse.

Re: Game Thread - Rams at Packers
Coming into this game if I was told the rams would have 10 points at half time with no turnovers at half time. I would have said "that means the rams are still in it". I would have been wrong. Never expected the D to be this bad.

Re: Game Thread - Rams at Packers
If you give Rodgers more than 2 seconds, he's gonna make the play. And our run defense is getting smoked. This is where our LB'ing core really gets exposed.

Oh the Rams defense is awful. I know it's Goff's fault. Ramsey is getting beat like a rented mule.
