I like mocks because I'm a draft junkie, and it forces me to learn more about players I'm unfamiliar with. Aside from that, you could read 10 mocks, and see 10 different projections, so no, they're not accurate.

The Rams seemed to get it right, even with the team having no picks within the first 100 selections in the 2022 NFL Draft. The team invested in the annual NFL draft with the following number of picks:
2022 | 8 picks | 5 rostered | 3 starters
2023 | 14 picks | 11 rostered | 5 starters
2024 | 10 ...

If the comparisons are Tyrod Taylor, Justin Fields and Jaylen Hurts no thanks all are mediocre QBs some below that. The Cowboys have been drafting really well, yet they’ve still underperformed most seasons. It just goes to show that drafting is only one piece of the puzzle. You need solid coaching, a good quarterback, and smart decisions about which players to sign or let go, among other things.

My gut is telling me that spot 26 is not a great place to be for the Rams... all their coveted players will be gone (Jihaad, Warren, Loveland, Simmons) and of the remaining positions, there is no one that they love.. so my bet is a trade back into the 2nd and seek value.. maybe take a CB

It's a good point. McVay needs a real passer to develop as opposed to an NCAA dual threat guy (Milroe/Leonard). I was not impressed with Milroe passing ability. I would target someone with a high/elite completion %. Shows accuracy/smarts. Not sure who that is this year.

I absolutely would be damn happy if we ended up with Bech. Unfortunately you will need to trade into the 2nd round to get him. This is where trading back from 26 and getting maybe 2 second rounds picks may be the best route. You pick at 26 you wont get Bech. And those who say well we have enough ...
