They will not win the division - too many combinations Are required and these Rams / and their coaching staff, do not deserve to win the division, that is what tonite was for.

Really a very flawed team in key important areas and now owner of an epic collapse equal to any in Ram history. WC route is not a very promising road to take to the SB and this FO must learn to value athletic, aggressive D talent if they wish to win another SB.

Will not really matter either way - due to this Epic failure they will not get to the SB with this D and ST group via the WC route - it does not happen and will not happen this year. Right in our hands only to choke it all away. The entire staff must be reviewed by someone in an objective fashion ...

IMO this FO does not value D players - how we could take O player after O player and be left so devoid of D talent is just incredible - we draft O players and never play them while overlooking clear D deficiencies. Our DB s cut lose so many people in coverage it is just absurd- not a FO that values ...

I think you may be onto something Utah Ram - we have seen this before and it is a McVay trait he cannot shake or even acknowledge- End the Game / Period - He cannot do it - and perhaps he never will . It is a real fatal flaw in his coaching DNA.

Robbed ? Maybe . Choked ? Certainly . Is there any chance the Rams staff/ FO can address the pitiful hole they have in failing to close games and address the Personnel coaching issues ? I do not think this FO possesses the ability or will to do so as it continues to happen over and over again.

These numbers are mind boggling- McVay is entirely responsible for this and MUST / MUST do some self evaluation on this major flaw in his HC bag and make the required changes . Seems to lack a dominant killer mentally in finishing games.

Let’s say he has flashed moments of dominance this year but I was expecting more on the field / pass rush and leadership areas. To the eye his effort seems uneven - particularly in rushing the passer.

Darnold has a relatively high INT rate for this type of discussion - here is hoping Rams and MS finish the regular season strong and he is properly rewarded for what is shaping up as his best in a HOF career. One hopes this vote is not tainted by the Rams collapse in Seattle.

Looking back at that game the enormous importance of the game seems almost unfair - we topple far down the seeding list and face nothing but adverse weather conditions as a result of this debacle- seems to me no words can spin it in a positive fashion- Even greater hi lol to climb without Dotsen

As the Rams are assembled from drafted players, FA signings and on field coaching , we do not seem to respect or embrace acquiring D talent as a legit 2/3 if the team. D on Rams seems to be an afterthought - and it costs us dearly when important games are on the line.

It has become just that - All roads lead to a soft approach and culture that comes from the HC. Defense is ignored in player procurement, poorly coached and mentally and physically weak. IMO not a legit SB threat and are trending downward as we speak. Far too many flaws on D .

The Seattle loss, and the immense implications to this season, are unprecedented. It destroyed the SB run and raises questions going forward about real changes needed in this FO and if in fact changes are even possible given the people and egos involved. IMO : Rams / SF / Seattle : each matchup dictated by the O styles of each team . They know each other inside out and what works for 1 team vs another is not successful vs another 1 if the 3. Fascinating to watch it.

The HC will always pick O toys and pass on quality D athletes - It is this time of the year when the Rams pay for this flawed approach.

BTW : Rams O put up 557 yards vs this Seattle D in Seattle . Amazing .

I have been critical of McVay / Rams this season for self inflicted wounds -but - it is time for a total mental reset for the task at hand. Play hard fast and with purpose tomorrow with all available players - and secure what is a better road forward in Carolina or Tampa Bay in our 1st step forward ...

I agree - Can our interior OL hold up - and - Can our secondary cover and tackle at any acceptable level . If yes and yes this Rams team can win it all. Two VERY BIG ifs.

But good wishes - those 3 at the top in some order would be great - changes the dynamic of the team. Add a RB with some size and speed and a legit sized C and I would call it a day. Use FA $$$ for what is left.
