Perkins? Stafford? Wolfie 2022-3?
Should we let Stafford go and roll with Wolfie or Perkins? Stafford makes some superb and exceptional completions, but he's immobile and banged up---not a youngin, high mileage.
I've got to admit, Perkins was outstanding. Too bad we couldn't see Wolfie in pre-season, too. But McVay seems to love Staffie---to a fault, perhaps?
I would love to have a dual threat QB who runs only when necessary and advantageous. I like the way Wolfie quickly goes through his progressions.

TBD
Stafford was brought here for the playoffs. Imo he will do well. If he sucks, personally I would consider moving him. The rams at the very least could get a 1st and 4th from a team like Panthers, Steelers, Broncos, Giants, Redskins, Saints etc.
If he plays well, but the rams lose before the SB for other reasons, then I would consider keeping him depending on how much he wants with a extension, how his body is holding up and if the rams have enough around him to win next year.
If the rams make or win a SB, and Stafford played good ball, I would be open to slightly overpaying to keep Stafford and signing him to a short 2 or 3 year extension.
If Stafford plays at MVP level and the rams win the SB, I would just ask Stan to open up his check book and hope Stafford don't rape the rams too much..

I quite liked the look of Perkins in Pre-Season.
I think QB's like him and that Tyler Huntley fella for BAL are similar in their styles at the position.
