New COVID Protocols - Rams Can Return By Sunday

Post by eas-rams »

Just read this article. Take a look at the last paragraph. Basically, the NFL imposed new protocols today, making it easier for players to return. Hoping we can get most of our guys back by Sunday.

The new protocols will allow those affected by false positive tests to return earlier. Some of the other rules are common sense things that teams should be doing anyway.

Teams were able to hold meetings last year in much bigger rooms/open spaces and wear masks. I know teams felt they didn't need to do that this year, but once the new, (more transmissible), variant was detected it should have been common sense to go back to those measures, at least on a temporary basis.

If anyone needs a warning then look at the covid19 data generated in the UK over the last 10 days. Heck, we were at 58K new cases per day 2 days ago and that was close to the UK's pandemic 'high'. 2 days later and we're at 88K new daily cases.
