Stafford is elite, when he understands to not push the ball and limit the turnovers. Of course this goes hand and hand with Mcvay calling the plays as well. But run the rock make plays off play action. This should be our identity going forward. Take care of the ball, and commit to the run. Limit turnovers. And we can beat any team in the league. The thread also about whether we should have traded or kept Goff is silly. I’m for one ok with giving up a first rounder for Stafford. The other first was
For Goffs contract. Front office screwed the pooch on that one. But regardless Stafford is a lot better than Goff. Now if Goff was playing like he did in early 2018, might be a fine argument. But he doesn’t exist anymore. Stafford gives this team the best chance, not named Goff. We missed on some draft picks, but everything is a toss up. The picks we gave up for some of these players we traded for could have been a waste as well. First round doesn’t guarantee anything. It’s all a crap shoot. Sorry for the rant but tonight was awesome and showed what we could be. First time all season I give props to Morris.
