McVay must consider firing Morris
We have a horrible Defensive Coordinator and a head coach who still hasn't figured out in year 5 that you must stay balanced to protect your quarterback and limit turnovers.
The costliest turnover against the Packers was our first. We had stopped the Packers on their first drive and had the ball back deep in our territory. We ran the ball 6 yards on 1st down. Mcvay goes empty backfield and Stafford gets strip sacked fumble and Pack get the ball on our 6 yard line.
We've lost these 3 games because of turnovers. I told all my Rams friends that McVay has no excuses now, he has his Qb and he has a star studded lineup here. Plenty of talent to win a championship.
I believe if we don't fire Morris this season will end badly. From game 1 against the Bears you could see the difference how easily we were letting guys get open.
The NFL is a bottom line business period. Morris isn't getting it done and to save the season McVay needs to make a tough choice and blow him out of here.

Re: McVay must consider firing Morris
You're probably right but let's say we lose sunday and defense gives up 30+ points which by the way I don't think will happen but if that were to happen I imagine McVay would be under some pretty intense pressure to fire him.
Heck let's just say we barely beat the Jags and we give up 30 I still think it would have to give McVay pause.

Quickest this is happening will be the offseason.
McVay hitched his wagon to this guy this year, for better or worse. Looks like for worse, but we have to deal.

Re: McVay must consider firing Morris
McVay has extreme loyalty to his coaches and unfortunately, Morris will not be fired during the season regardless of what happens moving forward. Morris will definitely get the ax at the end of the year, unless the Rams win the Superbowl and McVay would retain him.
I don't think for a minute that Morris will ever be a head coach again and his reign as a DC in the NFL will probably end after this season. You don't have Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Von Miller, and Leonard Floyd on your defense and you fail as a DC.
Wish we could have retained Staley for one more year, and we would be one hell of a team right now but how can you turn down an opportunity to be an NFL head coach.
