McVay’s post-game interview
He said he knows the ST's issue will cost us down the road and has already cost us.
But IMO, the way he keeps saying "I have to fix it" means he believes he can fix it with the current guys we have (Chase and Karty). So, he’s not even thinking about changing the kicker or the ST’s coach.
McVay’s biggest flaw as a HC, to me, is this: he believes he can fix anything with the current group. He almost never considers changing personnel or coaches. Our ST’s unit has been a disaster since Chase arrived, but he still refuses to fire the guy.

Re: McVay’s post-game interview
He said he needs to fix it. I didn’t get the perception is he won’t make changes. The issue is who is available to actually replace them? Not going to blame it all on Karty. The buck stops at the ST coach. Replacing the kicker won’t help if people keep get getting their hands on the kick.brasilrams wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2025, 9:51 am He said he knows the ST's issue will cost us down the road and has already cost us.
