We agree a lot oc but not here. If 60-29, one of best HC’s in the league, and a organization that does whatever it takes to win see Stafford, Miller, Ramsey OBJ, etc, isn’t enough to get the fans to support this team then winning a SB isn’t either…………
All winning a SB is going to do is create the excuse “well they won one and then raised ticket prices so this is why no one is going”……………
It’s a damn poor declaration by the LA sports fan. Damn poor…………..
I agree but it is what it is. SoFi prices are absurd IMO and that is why I don't go to the games. I am a huge Rams fan but not going to be $500 min to go watch a football game.
Yea , I am not paying 1000 of dollars for a sporting event during covid packing people into a stadium… I cover my rent and watch it on tv ..

I honestly don’t believe the Rams support would increase much even after a Super Bowl win. I think Kronke was moving the Rams believing the stadium would be full of fans, even though half will be for the other team.
Even back in the coliseum days, when the Rams were in the playoffs every year, Rams players would complain about the lack of support. LA is a huge city of transplants, I’m sure you easily could find 30-40,000 fan transplants from most major cities.
Unfortunately It is what it is, I wish it was different, maybe a SB victory will make a difference, I hope we get to find out.

And to be clear for this game this Sunday my issue is with Rams season ticket holders. Not with the fan who is not a season ticket holder and is now being subjected to secondary market ticket prices. I though will continue to say there are enough Ram fans in SoCal that has the financial means to even purchase those tickets while not having to plan for air fare and hotel accommodations. They just need to get in their car Sunday and drive to the game. We both can agree I assume that it’s a damn wealthy area………….
Season ticket holders sorry just a damn embarrassment that you are selling your tickets to THEM. Sell them to fellow Ram fans at face value or just don’t go if you don’t want to purchase playoff tickets because of the cost. Leave your damn seats unoccupied.
And then there is this that just came out on Tuesday:
“ “The game is sold out. Our Season Ticket members bought up all available tickets during a presale over the weekend, so there is no policy in place,” the Rams said in a statement to ABC 7 in Los Angeles.”…………….
If true and they are saying 65/35 Niner fans on Sunday………….

Boggles my mind that this could happen again. It's the NFC Championship game for crying out loud.
You can throw as many excuses as you like, both legitimate in some cases and nonsense in others, but if LA can't find 70,000 people to buy tickets to watch this team in this game, then I don't know what there's left to say.
I'm still reserving judgement until Sunday, as I just can't believe that the figures being quoted will be true.

I doubt this will change in our lifetime. And you know, to be honest, I wouldn't pay those prices for a ticket. I could afford it but it's just not worth it to me. Call me a bad fan whatever... I paid $1200 for my seat in the Super Dome for Super Bowl XXXVI back in 2002. Don't regret it at all but nowadays I have a lot more things to spend my money on.
Let the Niner fans blow their money and head home disgruntled, I say.

I’m sure our players and HC love that sentiment…………….
First of all, NO ONE loves that sentiment. You think I like saying what the reality is with this garbage situation?.
NC, what are we supposed to do? Just keep bi$ching a moaning about it? It is what is man. This bothers me just as much as it bothers you. But this is a process and will take time. When Rams first came to town, there were more fans of other teams in LA than our own LA Rams. Super unfortunate, but its the reality of a franchise that screwed us in '95. 20 years of no team, people followed other teams. Plus a HUGE majority of LA residents are from other parts of the Country and world. LA is a melting pot. You know this.
Again, it will take time. if in 5 years and its the same, I will be even more livid. But, give this sometime. Thats all im saying here.
Bottomline, its not ok. But coming in here, tossing up multiple threads of the same whining post does nothing. Lets focus and keep the eyes on the prize.
On a sidenote, I woke up today at 4am WIDE AWAKE. Went for a run, thought it would calm me down. NOPE. Im beyond pumped. I cannot wait for Sunday buddy
But some can’t stop posting uniform threads…………..
What uniform will they wear? Will they have Ram fans in stands so our offense doesn’t have to go to a silent count at home?…………….

Toast you know I’m a big fan of your typically rock solid on point posts as far as this issue goes, I agree with the reality that We don’t have a big dedicated Fanbase I think the original poster was asking why the f***ck not?
I remember watching playoff games in Jacksonville and Charlotte a few years after these teams were expansion teams they had a hometown fan base,
They didn’t have an iconic history dating back to the 40s with dozens of Hall of Famer’s they didn’t have the second most populous city in the United States they didn’t have a Super Bowl championship
Decades of dominance
4 years after the Rams relocated a Super Bowl bound GSOT was all blue and gold at the EJD, making 3rd down impossible.
I get It the Rams left LA for 20 years, I didn’t complain in 2018 when we went to the Super Bowl and still had a 50-50 fan split in the coliseum
for most of our games.
But at what point do we stop making excuses for the LA fans
Over the last five years the Rams are one of the top three teams in the NFL
There’s no question that they made more of an effort to win now than any other team in the league
They have stars all over the place
They have the most modern, best stadium in the NFL
They have a huge population with plenty of disposable income
Buying a season ticket package is not cheap I can’t imagine that 65,000 people are down to the last couple of hundred bucks so that this is such a financial windfall for them to scalp yo Niner fans
I live in New York I took my son to one game this Season at great expense, flights, hotel, dinners, tickets, Ubers
Enough already LA show the fukkkkkk up
I guess we were sold a "bill of goods," that Los Angeles WANTED the Rams back. I tell you what, I'm not gonna sit here for the next 20 years and buy ANY excuses for the pathetic Los,Angeles fan base. "Lakers, Dodgers, Georgia Frontiere, the Beach, things to do, blah blah blah."
Sure, but the Lakers and Dodgers have a great fan base. It's as strong (nationwide) as any fan base around I would guess. Frontiere did help destroy a fan base - she absolutely did.
The whiners have a history of Super Bowl wins, plus the city of SF hates LA more than the other way around I'm guessing. San Diego vs. LA is the same. LA looks at those cities as so what little guy...
So, the Rams are gonna have to face the storm and take the whiner fans out. Win a Super and get things turned around.
No excuses for poor LA turn out I 100% agree, I mean we went thru Frontiere too. And it's absolutely disgusting that a home team wouldn't have a crowd advantage at home in a game like this. Hey, I from Autzen Stadium, I know about loud home fan advantages...but again, beating the whiners in this game would go far. Lose to them and they really will starting owning our stadium.

yeah I have been listening to LA sports talk most of the week and this restriction StubHub put on, request made by the Rams, fueled the fire even more for Niner nation to pounce on any remaining ticket. I am not going to disagree with any of your takes because it is a total embarrassment. I only know 1 person who was a season ticket holder and he gave them up this year because it was way too expensive. I would love to get the breakdown of how many season ticket holders are individuals vs corporations.

From my perspective, his point was that it's time for our team's fans to prioritize, and thus focus on what really matters at this point, i.e. on-the-field competition vs. the 49ers.
People intensely interested in 'uniform aesthetics,' they'll have all offseason to debate that issue.
The Rams could be wearing their 1945 NFL championship uniforms, however if they lose to their archrivals again on Sunday, it's not going to reduce my devastating disappointment... :( :?

Seriously, quite trying to define who cares about the Rams the most. Oregon Ducks uniforms of the week can be discussed to the highest level, but come Saturday, Autzen Stadium will let you know where you are - you're in a place where it's likely as hard a place to play as it gets. GET LOUD!

Sure, but we know fans travel to opposing stadiums in greater number when they think a victory is likely.
Rams were huge in numbers in SEA until 'hawks finally played seasons at a high level. Same thing at Autzen. Think you'll crush the Ducks, high numbers of visitors. Think you'll be crushed, the only color in the stadium is green and yellow. But again yes, some teams travel WAY better than others.
SF fans are extremely confident right now. Gotta make them slink out of our stadium in silence...

49ers fans pay high prices for tickets. When their team was poor they didn't turn up and their new stadium was empty. When their team is competing for the playoffs they'll pay sky-high prices and they'll travel. When the Rams were in St. Louis fans paid much lower prices for tickets. When their team was poor they didn't turn up and their new stadium was empty. When the team was competing for the playoffs they paid sky-high prices. Now the Rams are in Los Angeles. Fans pay high prices for tickets. When the team was poor in the 1st year they didn't turn up. Ticket prices were higher because Los Angeles is a travel destination and opposing fans showed up. Now the team is competing for the playoffs fans still won't pay sky-high prices, but opposing fans will. I'm not blaming any of the location fan bases. There are just cultural and financial differences. From an NFL or owners perspective San Francisco and Los Angeles are good locations for expensive stadia and St. Louis isn't. It is what it is and I don't see it changing significantly over the next 30 years, regardless of results. Supporting a team with a small and somewhat fickle fan base is part of being a Rams fan.
