Re: Playoff Options
Yep. But if SF beats Philly they will have to play Seattle again in SEA. That's assuming GB gets knocked off in Chicago. Our path to the SB could be Carolina-SEA-Philly

I support any team that beats philly! That is the team the Rams need to avoid.

Re: Playoff Options
We do not want to go play in Philly in January again. It is very doubtful SF beats Philly, but I would love to see it.

I would like to play in Chicago and let Seattle and 49ers beat up each other again. I agree Philly is the 1 team I prefer not to play.

Re: Playoff Options
Not me. I want SF eliminated and I'm not worried about Philly. We should have beaten them this year and came close last year.
They don't want to play us.

I have mixed feelings about Philly because our last game against them was a crazy game. We completely dominated them in the first half and they completely destroyed us in the second half. Crazy stuff.

not afraid of Philly at all, we should have won going away last year and went to a SBbrasilrams wrote: ↑January 5th, 2026, 10:17 pmI have mixed feelings about Philly because our last game against them was a crazy game. before our center and right guard decided to both leave the defensive line star unguarded to both double team with the tackles and we took a huge sack on 3rd and 2, we should have honestly ran, I was yelling to run a shotgun draw or a quick run, we had 2 downs to get 2 yards and a fresh set of downs.. so frustrating
and this last game up 26-7 3rd quarter, made them look terrible, they had virtually no yards.. we even settled for too many FG's and than we disappeared and had freak back to back FG's blocked at the end

Re: Playoff Options
I am more worried about playing IN Philly vs SF...
1. That crowd is crazy...college football type atmosphere.
2. Weather in Philly is unpredictable
3. Team has to do the West to East traveling

Yes, but the crowd in Philly rivals anyone. I have been to a game in that stadium. It is electric.

Re: Playoff Options
Coulda...shoulda.....etc..... Fact is they came out of the half and hurts and AJ brown destroyed this defense and our offense couldn't put points on the board anymore. Up to that point it was the other way around . So, like I said , we dominated the first half but got our ass kicked in the second half. That seems to me like 2 teams that are on the same level. ( it least they were on the same level that day ) .GSOT89 wrote: ↑January 5th, 2026, 10:46 pmnot afraid of Philly at all, we should have won going away last year and went to a SBbrasilrams wrote: ↑January 5th, 2026, 10:17 pm

Re: Playoff Options
Understood. I am that fan that says the game is played on the field not in the stands. So that should apply for me when we play the niners at home. I just never will get over the fact that we get engulfed by their fan base in our stadium. As players you expect it on the road but at home……………

Re: Playoff Options
I 100% agree...it is pathetic that SF takes over our stadium. (I use "our" loosely since I don't live in CA.) It is also very difficult to even think about hoping 49ers win a game. In this case, it might help us a little. Out of our control either way.NorCal RF wrote: ↑January 6th, 2026, 9:59 amUnderstood. I want nothing to do with SF in this playoff run. Yep it’s personal I’ll admit but it is hell here dealing with the crap of their fan base this time of year especially…………Bulldawg wrote: ↑January 6th, 2026, 10:09 amI 100% agree...it is pathetic that SF takes over our stadium. Example. Just this morning their radio color guy was saying he has no idea why the niners OL played as bad as they did against Seattle because the unit has been rolling. Here is a thought you damn homer. They played the last 3 weeks the Bears, Titans, n Colts defenses………

Re: Playoff Options
Yeah, you treat SF like I treat Bama...I hate playing them due to the depression IF we lose. No other team I would rather beat, but the last team I want to play and lose. Sometimes it is better just to avoid them, their fans, etc.NorCal RF wrote: ↑January 6th, 2026, 10:17 amI want nothing to do with SF in this playoff run. Well, I HATE both teams now. :-) You have just had to deal with the 49ers longer. (My real hate is Florida Gators...I despise them.)
