9-3
Not Much to say……..
Stafford was horrible……….
Defense got their ass handed to them……….
Save the this is why we need home field. Weather n road game had nothing to do with Stafford’s 3 TO, D getting physically dominated, and Forbes getting abused all day. Repeat that n you are losing and it doesn’t matter where the game is……….
On to AZ. Get back to how you have been playing and this game won’t mean anything 6 weeks from now…….
Who wanted Corum gone………

Re: 9-3
Flush and move on. Everything still in play 1 seed and division wise tho now tougher.
Terrible game and lost by 3 against a 7-6 team on road. Rams are good. But they’re not head and shoulders above everyone else and never were.

Re: 9-3
Exactly. I just didn’t understand why McVay went pass-heavy when the run was working so well (7 yards a pop). Carolina was getting 4.1 yards a pop and they kept running down our throats. By doing that, they completely stole the entire third quarter, holding the ball for 13 straight minutes.
Stafford was off, but I’m sure the rain didn’t help. I still think the defense was the biggest problem today. You can’t allow TWO 4th-and-long conversions (more than 3 yards) to go for touchdowns ( both on FORBES ) , and you can’t allow them to run all over you and steal the whole third quarter like that.
I just don’t understand what happened. The Panthers’ O-line isn’t even that strong, and the Rams’ D — even when they KNEW the run was coming — couldn’t stop them at all. I guess they just wanted it more. It showed from the beginning with those hits they were laying on Kyren.
It is what it is , early game , rain and the other team was inspired and more physical . We can still get the number 1 seed if we take care of business and we will.

Re: 9-3
I certainly would have ran it a bit more on 1st down late……
Just me but again I refuse to blame this lost on weather and the starting time. Rams under McVay have a really good record when playing at 10:00am pst. 2 of 3 of Stafford’s TO were in the first when it wasn’t raining. It’s on him when you throw it off a DL helmet n throw a ball that has pick 6 as soon as it left your hand……….
Fumble? He tripped because of tackle n dropped the ball……
Again JMO………
AZ next week is big. I suspect we will see a different team……..

Re: 9-3
Disappointing.
Worst D performance by the Rams all year. Worst performance this year by Stafford as well.
Lots needs to be fixed, time for coaches and players alike to get at it. What needs to be fixed is on film, now fix it.
Pooh was banged up and hurt but that just means Rams needs depth big time in the run stopping area. This style of play (smashmouth, play action, keep the opposing offense off the field) that Carolina, Bears, Niners, Green Bay and Seattle play, isnt going away.
Shula need to come up with a scheme to slow it down.

A game like today will show the character of a team the following week. We have seen how they responded after the previous losses……..
