Sofi Parking/Transportation Tips?
My family of 5 will be making the trip for the Colts game Sunday. We have a rental car and are staying with family in Alhambra. Any tips on game day parking? Is it worth it to pay the $100+ for a lot spot? Is there any type of public transportation? Is it feasible to be dropped off / picked up by a family member? My three kids are adults and we don't mind walking a ways.
Love to hear the thoughts from locals. Appreciate it!

Re: Sofi Parking/Transportation Tips?
Hi Idaho Ram,
Please don't pay $100 to park at the Stadium. The best option that I used when I was a season ticket holder:
-I took Metro Rail for Rams and Chargers Games. Big plus there are many Ram fans on the Green Line going to the game.
Drive from Alhambra and connect anywhere, driving from East LA to the Metro C (Green) or K (red) Line (The Metro Train) and park for free at train station.
Exit LAX/Metro Transit Center Station (from the train with the other fans).
Take the free SoFi Stadium shuttle, which boards at Bus Bay 8 and takes you right to SoFI.
-Return shuttle service starts at the beginning of the 4th quarter and continues for 90 minutes after the game

That’s what we did last time I went
Parked the car at the harbor? Stop train station took the train two stops down got off walked down some stairs to the street waited for a bus for a few bus took us to the stadium
Same way back in reverse cost like 20 bucks

Think about getting a UberXL direct to the stadium (it's Sunday, drive should be about 30-40 minutes or so pending traffic getting in and out. The 110 is your best bet, but AVOID CRENSHAW)... Games are such a pain in the butt to drive into and out of here. (there is special parking for Uber. Cost to get the Uber should be less than parking PLUS you dont have to worry about parking and dealing with all the crap. just my opinion
Enjoy the game Idaho. Take some pics, and post them. I love seeing all you cats posting images in here during the games. Its a great POV

went to the Dodger game on sunday for a 1pm start and left from Tustin and it took us an hour and a half to get there. On the way back on I5 it was bumper to bumper for 20 miles both ways.....just sayingDelMar wrote: ↑September 25th, 2025, 3:39 pm https://www.sofistadium.com/parking-and-transportation

Re: Sofi Parking/Transportation Tips?
Believe it now, this is pretty much why I hate going to games at Sofi. I am coming from south OC and 405 sucks, ALL day EVERY day. The other reason I rather stay home is, I like replay on my TV, sitting in my stretchy shorts and dealing w no fights around meocram23 wrote: ↑September 25th, 2025, 4:17 pmwent to the Dodger game on sunday for a 1pm start and left from Tustin and it took us an hour and a half to get there. Avoid unmarked cars that pull up to you and ask if you need a ride. I was trying to get to sofi in a pinch. Ended up in Palmdale in a sack!

Really hoping to avoid the fights. Seems like it's a weekly thing in every stadium now. Kinda mind blowing how many people act that way in public.

Re: Sofi Parking/Transportation Tips?
Best way to avoid fight is when things look tense, and intimidating pull you shirt off. Let them see your guns and prison tats. They will know you mean business. See American X movie as a reference.Idaho_Ram wrote: ↑September 26th, 2025, 9:23 amThanks - I'll definitely take some pics.DelMar wrote: ↑September 25th, 2025, 3:39 pm https://www.sofistadium.com/parking-and-transportation

Re: Sofi Parking/Transportation Tips?
After the Ryder cup crowds, everything that is going on (shootings etc) and then this post, I'm starting to worry that we have a real problem with mental illness in our country. More so if people are normalising this sort of behaviour.
I have to admit that i haven't been to an NFL game in a few years. Was not a great experience last time between the costs, getting there, the abusive people in the stands and the alcohol consumption. After the game was especially bad. Not somewhere i want to take my kids anymore.
