Rams @ Browns Game Thread

Post by GlendoraRam »

The Rams conclude their three-week preseason schedule by visiting the Browns on Saturday. Kickoff from Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio, is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT on Rams TV affiliate KABC.
I feel those who are playing in the game are the players who won't make the final 53-man roster.

Guess we will finally see Dresser Winn at QB - I was trying to find some highlights on the guy. There aren't any - except this - LOL :)

What a horribly biased broadcast on NFLN. Basically zero analysis of the Rams. Even the big Ferguson catch wasn’t on the screen or discussed because they were interviewing Flacco.

On the other hand, it’s turning into a good game for the Rams coaches to finalize cuts. I’m also not as stressed about cut Rams not making it to the practice squad.

I always look at preseason as a way to see what rookie will make the team. Never put much into it.

Pressley is really making a case for himself at WR....going to be hard to cut him - I don't think he will make it to the PS without another team signing him

What about Presley? Another team is bound to pick him up.

Same with Tanner Ingle at safety....solid player that I think will be signed if we don't

Good problem to have I guess....

They need to keep Presley. Great hands, shifty, tough.

Ingle can hit! He’s a little short and maybe not the greatest in coverage.

I love Ethan Evans, but why didn’t the Rams hold onto Bojorquez a few years ago?

Rose and Thomas are basically the Cleveland broadcast team. It shouldn’t be that way on the NFLN. No Rams analysis.

Shader should be kept. I hope that TE Redman makes it to the practice squad.

Respecting fact it is pre season - Ram backup OL are not playing very well today - pass pro specifically very poor.

At the beginning of camp, Waters was my dark joy to make the team. He never got the opportunity.

I don't know how I feel about this loss to be honest. A lot to unpack with this one. First and foremost, Kendrick is not a viable option at CB and the Rams need to cut their losses. Second, it seems like our WRs catch everything thrown at him and that's a good problem to have. Third, T-Ferg is definitely the TE of the future and shown big play potential. Pooh, I don't know. The only thing I can say about him is stash him on the PS and let him develop further. But all in all, there's far more good than bad. I think we're set for the future. Other than QB, OL and CB that is. A lot of positives.

Browns telecast as the home team. No different the first 2 games when we were home with our broadcasters……….

It’s over is the best thing about today’s game. McVay didn’t even care about this game so I’m certainly not going to………….

Chris Paul jr. Will not make it practice squad. They need to let Reeder go.

I agree about letting Reeder go. We've gotten better at LBer, so there's no reason to keep him around. Id use Pooh and J-Stew in situational football. I mean, Pooh DID wear the green dot. So yeah, it's really gonna be interesting. I think we have our edges figured out this year.

Nevermind. Dolac didn’t play. He’s on the roster. Paul played a lot, but I don’t think that’s a bad sign. I think they were giving him green dot experience.

After seeing Tanner Ingle’s hits on special teams, I hope that they keep him instead of Reeder if a big part of the Reeder love had to do with special teams.

The last QB I recall popping off like that before or after the draft was Josh Rosen. We all know how that turned out.😝😂💯
