What round (If, at all) would you consider Kevin Hogan?
I am still hoping that Wentz, Goff or Lynch drop to the Rams at #15 but if they are all gone I would like to see them take a chance with Kevin Hogan with their second 2nd rounder. I just have a funny feeling he is going to have a really good NFL career. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he isn't more NFL ready than any other QB in this draft.

Only after Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch, Connor Cook, Cardale Jones, Brandon Allen and Dak Prescott are off the board. Then I'd have to consider Hogan along with Christian Hackenberg and Jake Coker. My guess is Hogan will get drafted in the 5th round, maybe 4th if some team really likes him. At this point, I'd take Coker over Hogan and Hogan over Hackenberg. Agree Hogan may be more NFL ready than most but just think he'll never be special. JMO.

The new USAToday draft special has Hogan as the 5th best QB, after the Big Three and Prescott. I agree with that order. They have Jones at 6, Cook at 7, Adams at 8--ahead of Driskel, Hack, Allen and Kessler. Coker's #16, a 7th or UDFA in their rankings.lynyrdsghost wrote:Only after Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch, Connor Cook, Cardale Jones, Brandon Allen and Dak Prescott are off the board. I wouldn't touch Cook. Adams may be a Wilson, and a steal in the 4th. USAT on Hogan: "Mechanical flaws from top to bottom." The guy played four years, for STANFORD, 66%, 9000+ yards, 75-29 TD/Int. Four years at a perennial Top 15 school like Stanford, and NOBODY taught him mechanics?
I think Hogan would be a steal for the Rams in the 4th. Given other needs, I might not pull the trigger in the 3rd. But if it looked like somebody was licking their chops for a smart QB higher in the 4th round, I'd toss in the 6th pick to move up 8-10 spots to get him.

Rams spot in 4th would be a good gamble if they haven't taken a QB yet.
