The Rams offense is based on the play action pass....you can't pitch the ball and have play action pass off that....that's my thoughts.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few pitches during the game, but I also know McV offense is play action and 11 personnel.

The 3rd and 7 run call to Samuel was the call that won the game. Not many teams would dare run the ball in that situation. Gutsy call that paid off. It will also make us scheme against it going forward.

Agreed. I wish they would pitch more. Go strong formation with Kupp and Higbee leading the way, give Cam a little chance to work up some speed. Seems all we do is the inside the tackle stuff.

Stupid huh?? You obviously didn't watch the game last night or any 49er game this season. There play calling, formations, and even backfield motion is very predictable from what I have watched all season. You also have to understand that Garrappolo is VERY limited on the throws he can make. He has about a 10 - 12 yard safety passing zone. Anything further than that, the completion percentage is very low.

If you have the players and the execution to make a couple of plays work, you run them over & over until the other team proves they can stop them.
Or you can expand the playbook and see if you can outsmart yourself.

The Rams know the Niners better than any team in the league. So, if they only have 5 basic plays, we know that and we still haven't been able to stop them.
