Stafford Has Much More to Prove

Post by Hangtime »

I feel for Stafford, as he's expected to deliver us to the Promised Trophy Land of Lombardia. While the win against the Cards was a step in building his new image as a winner of playoff contests, the fact is that if he throws some pics and fumbles away the game against the Bucs, his reputation will suffer. I must confess, watching him is like watching Goff under pressure, a turnover waiting to happen. Staffie must tuck it when being hit and hurried, and must throw it away when the coverage is excellent. Why Sean calls sneaks with the obviously injured QB is a mystery. Did you see him wince in pain when the Cards hit him and drove him to the ground? I think his underthrown balls are symptomatic of an injury he simply guts out and plays with, most often successfully.

Our punt returner is turning into a stud. Special Teams are pretty darn good now that Hekker has his shoes laced up properly.

Gay has been money so far.

Cam Akers will make it hard for defenses to stuff our running game unless they stack the box.

Wire to wire victory isn't out of the question.

Beckham and Miller are earning their pelf.

Stafford was so good against the Bucs last game - hope it's more of the same. We must hit Brady and get him thinking about the pass rush-rush his throws and get him out of his comfort zone. We are due to beat Brady in the playoffs-he has broken our dreams a few times now it's his turn-send him off into retirement with an L

Why not?.. The Rams have the highest ceiling in the NFL....and if they play really good, I fully expect them to beat both TB and GB on the road.

Stafford is the key. Gotta stay hot. I hope these guys come out like wild animals and play like it's now or never. Play physical like the team that shall not be named.

Mcvay has just as much to prove, but neither can win the game on their own.

Getting the proverbial monkey off his back, Stafford will be ready to go. And we are lucky to have McVay, hopefully, for a very long time. It’s all right there in front of us and the time is now…go Rams!
