It felt like McVay had planned since the end of last season to feature Akers. Suddenly all of that was gone, and then tonight he finally got to implement what may have been the plan going into the season.

And it was glorious.
But what was also glorious was the defense staying relentless.

Which makes me wonder what kind of offense are we gonna run for the 2022 season. I really do believe that with Cams injury, we were gonna be a tough physical team on offense. I'm not taking anything away from what Matthew Stafford did, because he was pretty good. But man, the what ifs for Cam Akers has my mind wondering what kind of team we would have been had he not been hurt.
