HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
I’m glad we are in LA BUT if we were playing the game in the EJ DOME, it would be rocking
LA Fans should be embarrassed
This team has brought a lot of success and they at least deserve fans in that awesome stadium

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
You know I was thinking about that too but...
LA didn't have a team for decades. If you lived in CA then you have to pick a team if you're into football. I can't blame people for choosing the Chargers, Raiders or the Whiners over the last couple decades...
Overtime hopefully that will change now that LA citizens (and I'm talking about the youth - hard to change an adults mind who they will root for) have 2 teams to choose from...

Judge our new coach in his third year. After all our last coach was to game strategy what Yoko Ono was to the Beatles...

Disgrace. I will agree. The EJ Dome was a very tough place for visiting playoff teams. Now I'm L.A. And the Rams have to go silent snap count because of noise.

That place should have been at least 80% Ram fans today!

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
LA is a terrible sports town for every team except the Dodgers and sometimes Lakers.
Rams will never have a huge home field advantage there.
Rams when they were bad would have lot of opposing fans invade STL, but when they were good it was one of the top HFA’s in the league due to the noise

Again excuse!SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 5:11 pm Rams will never compete with the Dodgers and Lakers. Laker road games have more laker fans than home fans. Dodgers have decades of fandom.
Can’t move cities every 20 years like the rams and expect a passionate fan base.
This is their 6th bleeping year back! Biggest regular season game in years. And where were they………….

When rams were winning the dome was rocking. Wow it got loud. When the rams were winning, and played the niners. Maybe the niners fans take over 15 percent of the stadium, tops.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 5:08 pm Disgrace. I will agree. The EJ Dome was a very tough place for visiting playoff teams. Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
Why do you think the Rams left LA the first time? Exactly what you are expressing. The St. Louis fans would have embraced this team. However, the Rams now have an owner motivated by greed and glitz. Football is secondary.

Fans don’t win games players do. Rams laid down like a dog in the second half. Would you want to be a fan of that? They got the fans their play deserved.

Been a Rams fan for 64 years. At times like today it is very difficult to remain supportive.

The rams will more likely have 2 home games. One against Arizona and then the following week vs Tampa, after the niners beat Dallas.
Hopefully more ram fans show up

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
No. I was commenting about fan support. The Rams lost today again for the same reason since the 2019 season. Lousy offensive line and a poor defense. In my opinion the 49'ers exploit those weaknesses more than any other team. I go back to 1957. Fans sort of starting becoming cynical in the late seventies. The big game loses made people cynical. This is nothing new. H*** laughing they are the same team as last year when the seats were empty. You are correct the fans have nothing to do with it.

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
Rams had suspect fan support after failing to win a super bowl in the 60s thru 80s (despite having excellent teams), moving to Anaheim (horrible decision by horrible owner) and then moving to Missouri for a generation (even worse decision by same horrible owner).
Well LA got them back where they belong.
You want to cure the horrible local fan showing?
START WINNING.
The Dodgers and Lakers have each been premiere organizations in their respective sports. The Dodgers have six rings in Los Angeles and I don’t even know how many the Lakers have but I assume it’s double digits.
Just win baby and it solves everything.
A good start would be refusing to be Frisco’s bitch.

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
Separate field from stands. This was a 12-4 team, that has been back for 6 years now, that was no where to be found in SoFI………luckenbill56 wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 5:55 pm No. I was commenting about fan support. A 9-7 team, that has had a losing record the previous 3 out of 4 years took the time to buy tickets, travel, and show up to support.
In comparison the home fan base who has had 5 straight winning seasons, playing their biggest rival, and playing for a division title was who knows where………..
Pathetic! But continue making excuses for them……..

Reading is fundamental.
Try again and this time ask someone what ‘rings’ represents.

I've read many of the comments here, but you are forgetting one important thing. More people have moved from all over the U.S. to Southern California over the last several decades then anywhere else in the U.S. and mainly all those transplants are still loyal to the teams they grew up with.

Re: HATE TO say STL WOULD HAVE SHOWN
And understanding football is too……..
So the Southern California fan base will only support a pro team that wins rings and not a team that has had 5 straight winning seasons. Great fan base………
Makes one even appreciate more the rest of the fan bases around the country………..
I’m watching and NBA basketball team right now with guys named Curry n Green on it that has a fan base that showed up every night and filled a arena when this team was bottom basement for years……….
Continue with the BS……..

And the largest demographic of the fan base is fleeing California like Japanese fleeing Godzilla.TheLARamGuy wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 6:22 pm I've read many of the comments here, but you are forgetting one important thing. What is the population in Southern California? What is the seat capacity at SoFI?TheLARamGuy wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 6:22 pm I've read many of the comments here, but you are forgetting one important thing. It’s not the only area in Country that has residents moving in and out. Silicon Valley………….
