Woods

Post by therealheadslap75 »

Ok so do we resign OBJ? Woods is the man, also has a bucket of dead cap. How’s the knee
Is Van the 4th? Or do we carry an Uber expensive WR core
A lot of young guys were drafted
A lot of questions
Personally I like OBJ, I think he can get deep and those slants are crazy

Thoughts

I like Beckham for what he brings to the red zone. He has those strong hands that rip the ball out of the air making him very effective on slants or fades. Huge weapon in the red zone and converting 3rd downs.

Would rather have a healthy Woods over OBJ every day of the week. He’s signed through 2025 and that’s a lot of money, football is a business

According to Sportrac:

“POTENTIAL OUT: 2022, 2 YR, $20,567,266; $12,100,000 DEAD CAP”

Not even worth talking about till the off-season.

Rams would have to trade Woods if they wanted to get out of that contract.

With that said, I'm not so sure OBJ will resign with Rams.

Agree that it's early to discuss this, but likewise, I don't see him resigning. I could see him taking Josh Gordon's spot on the Chiefs. And that's fine, because RW is the heart and soul of the Rams. He's a warrior.

I love Woods, one of the best additions team history. However, it appears to that he slowed down a bit even before the injury. Maybe he does a Kupp and comes back better than ever
