Stafford fumbled?
I wasn't sure at first, bc it looked like it was a incomplete pass but the play when Stafford looked liked he was throwing it right when the defender hit his arm was ruled a fumble. It looked like it was just going to be a incomplete pass to Kupp but then I seen Stafford run and jumped on it just in case. Good thing he did bc the NFL ruled it a fumble. Good heads up play by Stafford.

Re: Stafford fumbled?
NFL could not have ruled it a fumble. The refs brought the ball back to the original line of scrimmage.

Re: Stafford fumbled?
It was ruled a fumble. Rams had 2nd and Goal from the 6 yard line. The play resulted in a loss of 2 yards after Stafford ran and dove on the ball. 3rd and Goal was from the 8 yard line.
Huge heads up play by Stafford

If it was ruled incomplete pass it would have been 3rd and Goal from the 6. It was ruled a fumble.

Re: Stafford fumbled?
Plus the play by OBJ to keep the clock running, very critical play…
I was puzzled by the Hopkins tip, if their other receiver happens to catch that ball at the one, would that have counted after Hopkins kicked the ball? Im not sure of that…

Re: Stafford fumbled?
Another smart, unselfish play, by OBJ. When he ran out of bounds, people like myself was saying "Why" and he was giving the clock keep running motion. He knew it when he did it. Good heads up move by him. Even Stafford was like "Huh"RGtheFirst wrote: ↑December 14th, 2021, 8:01 am Plus the play by OBJ to keep the clock running, very critical play…

Re: Stafford fumbled?
At first I did too. But the nfl and refs ruled it as a fumble. Glad Stafford jumped on it too, bc I remember a similar play with Goff a year or so ago, I thought it was a obvious incomplete and the refs said it was a fumble.
Don't leave anything to the refs, they will screw uou over from time to time.

He doesn’t react the way he did unless he thought………….
Just a damn good play by him that you rarely see with the ball landing that far from QB…………..
I too thought it was an incomplete pass………….
