Defense played well against Titans and Packers

I finally watched those games back and what was surprising is that our defense has played well on 2 of the 3 games during this losing skid.

Our defense only gave up 13 points to the Packers offense, everything else the defense inherited due to mistakes on offense and special teams.

Against the Titans the Rams gave up less than 200 yards. Titans only scored 14 points on our defense (last td was off the bogus AD roughing the passer call 4 mins left in the game when we were down 21-9). Stafford gave the Titans 14 straight points on back to back interceptions (1 inside their 5 and other way a pick 6)

If you are expecting more out of a defense in the NFL you are crazy.

I think we are blaming Morris when he has been our best coach during these last 3 games

9 sacks
1 fumble (not including punt fumble last wk)
11-42 on 3 down
4 failed 4th down Conversations

The 49ers bullied our defense no question about that, but the other two games I think you guys are blaming the wrong guy.

Can't really agree with this. It was 20-17 at the half against the pack. Pack went 13 plays and 75 yards for a TD to open the 2nd half. That's all on the defense and pretty much sealed the game. 7 1/2 minute drive to start the 2nd half.

It's Aaron Rodgers we are going to give up points and long drives but 17 points to the Packers offense is a good day.

This is how the game went:

Stafford fumbled recovered by Packs inside the 5 and they scored a TD. Score 0-7

A failed 4th down conversation on the Packers 30. The Packers didn't get more than 5 yards that drive but they were able to kick a fg. Score 0-10

Rams drive for td. Score 7-10

Packers drive for fg. Score 7-13 (defense gave up 3)

Punt fumble recovered by rams result in fg. Score 10-13

Packers drive for TD. Score 10-20 (defense has allowed 10 points on drives)

Rams drive for a TD. Score 17-20

Packers drive for TD. Score 17-27. (17 points on defense.

Rams fumble punt, packs recover on their 28. They get 5 yards and kick a fg. Score 17-30

Stafford's interception returned for a td. Packs miss extra point. Score 17-36

Stafford long td to OBJ and then a 2 pt conversion. Score 25 -36

We kick a fg at the end. 28-36

Absolutely refuse to attach “good coaching” to Raheem Morris………….

Again this was the #1 D that was a shut down D last year that isn’t even close to this now. Why? Because he changed the successful scheme period!

Last year’s D does not let any offense go 95 yards, like Aikmen said in a broadcast, like this one has. Or let teams ball control long drives like this one does a lot this year.

Morris needs to go period!

Defense was not that bad , actually pretty decent against Pack and Titans but they were AWFUL / DEPLORABLE against AZ and SF . Division RIVALS . Morris lost some key players to FA and injury but he still SUCKS and still has to GO . That game plan and lack of adjustments against SF was mind boggling . Just TERRIBLE coaching .
