Here's a guy that hung around and probably made a real nice buck to set him up for life. Provided he was not a moron with his money.

Can't beat that name though, as a QB for University Of Texas. Almost sounds made up, it's so on the nose.

Has to be one the best jobs in the world (if you aren't seeking the limelight). Seriously to be a life time back up. Make $1-$2M a year for carrying a clip board and getting able to play sometimes. Then when you go in, win a couple games... you're all set for another couple of years. Downside is you could be playing in a different city every season I guess.

When do you think Bortles will come around and accept that he could be a solid back up? He could be picked up easily if he would accept back up money. Guess we'll see. I wouldn't mind signing him for maybe $1M a year.
