Jacksonville dline is a group of first round picks which generally means pretty talented. Our oline controlled the game. On drives where we failed to score it was usually our mistake dropped ball or penalty that cost us drive not oline blocking.

The Rams won 45-17, and that game, for me, may have offered their most enjoyable offensive performance of the season. The flow was incredible, and so many players were involved. Things just moved beautifully. It was also the game that McVay almost missed due to illness. LaFleur had more responsibilities that week and during the game. McVay is amazing, but that game seemed to hit the right groove with LaFleur doing more. Granted, it was against AZ, but I can’t help but wonder if the way that plays were called that day is something they should keep emulating.

And while the defense struggled with Wilson and McBride, they kept AZ’s little known RB’s to just a few yards. There was good special teams work. Landman had an interception. The overall groove was strong that day. Hopefully that groove will be back tomorrow.

Vikings are a bad team. No QB and Brian Flores IMO is overrated………

In a league that says player safety is the priority then one may question why Wentz was out there………

Eight teams IMO that are playoff possible in NFC. Eagles, Cowboys, Bucs, Lions, Packers, Niners, Seahawks, n Rams. 7 will get in. Hard not to like this………

Amazing isn't it... where they were just one year ago today and last season... to go 14-3 w Darnold... and after all of their off season decisions, I am not sure Kevin O'Connell will make it through the season.

Can I add a 9th and 10th teams in that mix for postseason Nor? (both long shots... but.....) SO Call me nuts, but Giants and Bears. again, most likely neither team will make it in... but If neither of them make it in this year, next year (and beyond), I see them at the tops of their divisions.

Something in me also thinks THREE teams from the NFCW makes it in. (hint on those 3, well I can assure you the Cards are not one of them 😜, so...)

KO isn't going anywhere he is one of the best coaches in the NFL.....tell me any coach that could survive without their #1 QB??? He has excelled with every QB he has brought in there. I think this demonstrates just how bad Wentz is

All of these questions about what’s going on with the offense and when it started going sideways. The answer is the O line with guys missing and most of it started after Adam’s went down, especially in the red zone. Thank God we have Puka.

He has not taken drastic steps because Chase is his old college room mate and he doesn't have the insides to send him packing. I don't think he has has ever made an in-season coaches move since he has been here and he wont start with his boy from college. Now can he add a coach to help out , yes he can. Will he? not likely.

Im thinking must win for the Rams. A loss this week puts them well behind the 9ers, with Seattle Tampa, and Detroit looming.

The team could go from NFC favorite to missing the playoffs in a heartbeat.

    Ok, devils advocate here...

but as we all know, The Los Angeles McVay Ram Starters do not see the field in preseason... which on one hand, keeps our stars safe from injuries...

But... . I also have to wonder, would we still have these slow starts IF our starters saw at least some action?

Hmmm. Just thinking that if we had more of the first teams playing in preseason at least a qtr, would we have figured out the issues that took us 5 games into the reg season, like last season, sooner?

Is Shelton really better than Limmer? I really wasn’t impressed with Shelton in his first go with the Rams. Or maybe the Rams watched the last Eagles game and realized they need a veteran at Center

Some say he has improved since last being with the Rams. Some say it's Shelton ability to call out blocking schemes is why he is back. Limmer really blew those blocking calls at the end of the Eagles game. He had KD blocking no one when he should have been helping with Carter.

Interesting as the Rams have some intriguing guys with speed to get to a QB & the size to bring down today’s jumbo sized QBs. A related comment to this topic : Is there an injury or issue with Braeden Fiske ? His pass rush is non existent this season and it is really missed.

I think Fiske is just average and nothing more. solid player but not a stud. JMO

Rams have to be good at what they do well……….

Move the chains on Offense against a subpar defense. Stafford has to take what their D gives them. I thought he got away from that against Carolina and checked off the 6-7 yard completions and was trying to go deep too much. Until the last drive and he was great taking what they gave him……………

Continue to not kick into the end zone on kickoffs. They have been better lately…………

Contain their run. Another very good 2 back offense that we have done well against most of this year………..

And you have to make Williams one dimensional. He can’t have a big game running the ball…………

The rest we know in regards to no TO’s etc…………

You just hope like hell Williams has that off game like he has at times throwing the ball. If he doesn’t…………

They have to play in the weather just like us. We have a roster of quite a few players who have played in cold weather. No excuses. It is not where we play but how we play………………..

Seriously though, who would not have fumbled on that play? Stafford set him up to fail and Sean got cute. At the end of the day, you win as a team and you lose as a team.

I agree with this so much!! Yes in the end it’s your fault for fumbling but he was positioned badly and a great “helmet to ball” hit. But yes I’d love to see Ferguson more!!

It was a great play by the Texans defender. They are also paid to make plays and he made one.

I'm sure Stafford's record in cold weather has nothing to do with the fact that most of his career he played on horrible Lions teams? I'm sure the cold was the only reason he lost those games!

well, he wasn't getting doubled 100% of the time, and he played much better for at least two series in the second half, but to me, he just doesn't look right, I saw several one on ones versus an average left tackle, last year that Guy would've been thrown into Wards face face in 2 seconds

AD99 was a notorious slow starter so I'm hoping verse is in the same boat, I was just looking for that crazy bull rush that I saw at the end of last year versus some pretty good left tackles

Save the this is why we need home field. Weather n road game had nothing to do with Stafford’s 3 TO, D getting physically dominated, and Forbes getting abused all day. Repeat that n you are losing and it doesn’t matter where the game is……….

  • September 20th, 2025, 3:51 pm Re: Taylen Green QB Prospect September 20th, 2025, 3:51 pm Re: Taylen Green QB Prospect
    DRAFT PROFILE: BIO
Coming from the transfer portal with something to prove, Taylen Green delivered a statement 2024 campaign that has NFL scouts circling his name for the 2026 draft class. The Texas native's journey from Lewisville High School to Boise State and finally Arkansas reflects a player whose ceiling rises with each stop. After winning Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors in 2022 and Conference Championship MVP in 2023, Green found a new gear in the SEC, accumulating 3,756 total yards (3,154 passing, 602 rushing) and 23 touchdowns in his first season as a Razorback.

Green's 2024 season revealed both his tantalizing upside and areas requiring refinement. His 416-yard passing performance against Oklahoma State displayed arm talent worthy of early-round consideration, while his five-touchdown masterpiece against Mississippi State showcased his dual-threat capabilities. Perhaps most impressive was his Liberty Bowl MVP performance, where he became the only FBS quarterback this century to pass for 300+ yards, rush for 75+ yards, average 30+ yards per completion, and throw zero interceptions in a single game.

The athletic credentials jump off the page - Green made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak List after reportedly hitting speeds near 23 MPH in training. His background as a 43-foot triple jumper in high school manifests on Saturdays through explosive cuts and open-field running ability that belies his towering 6'6" frame.

    SCOUTING REPORT: STRENGTHS
Super athletic - Made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List at #88. He Wrote: "Green threw for more than 2,000 yards, completing 61 percent of his passes, and was responsible for 24 touchdowns (14 passing, 10 rushing). He then went on to earn Frisco Bowl Offensive MVP honors. He’s 6-6, 230 pounds, but can also hit almost 23 MPH on the GPS. In high school, Green was a 43-foot-5-inch triple jumper"
Delivers gorgeous deep balls with natural touch and driving velocity, particularly excelling on vertical routes where his arm strength truly shines.

Maintains downfield vision during scramble drills better than most pocket passers, finding secondary receivers while navigating traffic.

Runs angry for a quarterback his size, consistently shedding tacklers and showing decisive one-cut ability that produces chunk yardage.

Shows impressive command in RPO concepts, quickly identifying defensive leverage and delivering accurate throws while moving laterally.

Performs best in spotlight moments, evidenced by clutch plays against ranked Tennessee and his bowl game heroics against Texas Tech.

Demonstrated meaningful growth after transferring to Arkansas, improving completion percentage and decision-making against elite competition.

Radiates natural leadership that teammates gravitate toward, quickly earning respect in Arkansas locker room despite being a transfer.

  • December 3rd, 2025, 5:57 am Re: Rams CB’s December 3rd, 2025, 5:57 am Re: Rams CB’s

I understand that yesterday Forbes was embarrassingly bad and that even great players, like Stafford, can have a crappy day. My stream pooped out at the end of the first quarter, so I’ve not reviewed the video yet, but it seems like the defense was not coordinated well at all yesterday. Forbes has issues, but he progressed so much throughout November and seemed to be positioned correctly for his skills. Was he being used differently in yesterday’s shit show? Or did he just stink?

Going back through his career until today, Forbes doesn't play well against big receivers. That's all Carolina has. And none of their names are AJ Brown and they still got him. So its either in his head against these types.. or its his size, or both.. Because against everyone else, including JSN, his talent was/is apparent. To me Forbes has nickel package written all over him. And a ball hawking one I think he can be in that spot. The Rams for sure need to either sign a starting corner or draft one. I felt that way even when Forbes plays well.

It is why this should be a fan base that wants Stafford to play as long as he wants to and should not get in a uproar if he tries to get more $$$$ out of this team……………

  • September 30th, 2025, 7:46 am Re: Is it too early to talk draft? September 30th, 2025, 7:46 am Re: Is it too early to talk draft?

The season is already going way better than last year but we still have a lot of holes. I can already see areas that need to be addressed in next years draft. I know the season is just getting started but some things are obvious. Here are some needs we have now and will in the future.

    1. QB - This one is obvious. Stafford is very long in the tooth and while he still has a great arm, his mobility sucks. It's past time to develop our QB of the future.

    2. RT - Havenstein is very old. He is no longer a top tier RT. This needs to be addressed ASAP.

    3. C - Shelton isn't the answer. Apparently Limmer isn't either. I'm still mad that we drafted Tutu Atwell over Creed Humphrey but that's water under the bridge. We need to draft a replacement.

    3. CB - We need two. It's going to take some time for these guys to develop so we need to draft them two years ago.

    4. ILB - I have been very impressed with Landman. I think Dolac could be the guy but if he can't beat out Speights we have a problem. Even if he does come in and play well the second half of the season we still need to address this position.

    5. RB - We need a big bruiser with speed. We have enough small RB's. I like the combination of Williams and Corum but we need a big guy.

Many of these are the same needs we had last year that weren't addressed. How long can we wait before things start to go south? anything?

never too early to talk about the draft. top 3 needs below
