will do. It is crazy so far that all the so called Top Prospects, QB wise, in next year's draft have pretty much sucked so far.
Hey Arch finally had a good game .. of course it was against perennial powerhouse Sam Houston ..
I hated what I saw out of Arch today taunting that defensive player when he ran into the endzone. wait until he plays a real opponent and we will see what he does. The season starts next week IMO. - 2 Been thanked

Great post. I love McVay, but I think he is too quick to abandon the run game. Carolina is #4 against play-action. Yeah, they were down 2 starting DBs, but Stafford was having an off day. Williams tweaked his ankle, but Corum had the hot hand anyway. His TD run impressed the hell out of me. Should have rode Corum more, especially given the weather, and especially on that last drive. Run the ball. Run the clock. Score and leave Carolina with no time. Instead Rams fumble. Run the ball. It was working. - 2 Been thanked

September 22nd, 2025, 8:51 pm Re: This should be Stafford’s last year, I’m good September 22nd, 2025, 8:51 pm Re: This should be Stafford’s last year, I’m good
Honestly better QB play and this game doesn’t come down to wire. He sailed a bunch of 3rd and shorts n the first half. He had a horrible INT. Total lack of any athleticism forces them to be very one dimensional on offense. He got chased down by Jordan Davis on a 3rd and 2 that 95% of QBs turn into a 10 yard gain when the entire far side of field was open for a considerable scramble. This was when it was 26-14 at midfield.
He needs a stellar pocket and opposing defenses never have to worry about him running. Last week on MNF, mayfield on game winning drive extended a 4th and 10 with his wheels. Stafford would prob just throw an incompletion game over.
Can we get a modern QB? I like Stafford but he has to be so much better as a thrower to make up for these deficiencies.
Baker Mayfield?..he couldn't hold Stafford's beer..please stop. When Mayfield gets to 60k yards passing and damn near 400 hundred TDs let's have this conversation..Every QB has their faults..every QB does!..every QB has bad games and craps the bed every now and then..Mayfield was more likely than not on his way out of being a starter in the NFL until McVay turned his light bulb back on for him. Look at Joe Burrow every one wants him as their franchise QB including many on here..super talented and fragile as a freaking ballerina! Franchise QB's don't just get plucked from bagging groceries at the local supermarket. Most everyone was a big Goff fan..until they weren't..so its a cycle of good and sometimes bad play. We truly have a franchise QB that can and has lead this team to the promise land!..count how many truly mobile QBs have won the last 10 Super Bowl's I'll wait..2 maybe and they aren't really considered a truly mobile QBs..they are a dual threat QBs who able to scramble out of most trouble! Stafford isn't perfect and it seems that short of him going 158.3 every weekend people are gonna hate and complain. It's almost a past time in here with the same cycle of complaints and those complaining. Do I want to see him playing better ball of course..but I've seen what the other 25 or so teams run out there on a Sunday and I'm still willing to take the good and bad with Stafford over those other 25 teams QBs. Until you or we find the next John Elway we should be counting our blessings that we have him in a Rams uniform no matter how hideous they look. - 2 Been thanked

December 8th, 2025, 7:45 am Re: This Defense Tailspinning December 8th, 2025, 7:45 am Re: This Defense Tailspinning
I can relate to what the poster is saying : forget the score all of the elements of the D noted are accurate. This D has glaring issues that may be the Rams undoing - not doomsayers nor negative fans or whatever else you want to call it when a declining failing D is called out. CB are really awful but the scheme being called is just as bad. Our pass rush has definitely declined and may also cost us.
Don’t get me wrong, our defense has its issues. DL isn’t at its best, DB’s are garbage… LB are fine. But they have done an overall good job. Shula loves the prevent soft Defense and I think he does this to compensate for how bad our corners are. Not sure.
Actually not being aggressive rushing the QB causes long drives and eats up the clock, and forces the cbs to cover longer, resulting in keeping our offense off the field so I disagree with this type of defense. By this defensive style the cbs look worse then they are because in the last 4 games we have had 1 or 2 sacks some of those came with us a lot and game out of reach which is an obvious passing situation due to score. The DL must get more pressure on the qb. - 2 Been thanked

Giving ball at 35 is asinine.
I totally agree. I wrote a thread a week ago wondering why the constant kicking off into the enszone. To me starting at the 35 is a gift. I regularly see teams make a big play and they are in long FG range. The competition committee needs to review this because kicking off into endzobe should start on the 30 not 35. Hell I would be for starting at the 25. Starting at the 30 definitely forces teams to focus n putting the ball in play. It sacks to see the Rams continually between the 25 - 32 when the ball is in play vs us kicking off and teams stating routinely at the 35. That is a net 3- 10 yards per kickoff. - 2 Been thanked

December 25th, 2025, 6:33 pm Re: Week 17 - Other Games December 25th, 2025, 6:33 pm Re: Week 17 - Other Games
You ought to practice what you preach.
The Rams were down 17-3 in the 4th Q and Warner lead them back on 2 TD drives of 77 and 55 yards.
The 1st TD he ran it in himself from the 2 and the 2nd he hit Proehl for 26 Yards to tie the Game....
Then the D failed to stop the Pats from driving for the GW FG as time expired...
How is that on Warner as compared to the Goff performance where the Offense he led set a SB record with 8 Consecutive Punts?
Dude the Rams were 14.5 point favorites. Warner gave the Patriots 7 points himself.
You are blaming Goff for not leading a team that was way worse than the GSOT. Makes no sense. I mean the Rams were a good team that year, but you and the other guy make it seem like Goff screwed over some magical team. Facts are the Rams shouldn’t have even been there. The Saints should have.
And that was a Goff on a rookie deal. Only reason they coiod even build what they had was the QB was cheap. So I’m not gonna blame him for choking a Super Bowl.
Somehow to the other guy, Martz gets all the blame for 2001 (and Warner none), and Goff gets all the blame for 2018 (and McVay none). Makes zero sense.
Goff had one of the shittiest performances by a QB in SB history. This is by traditional and advanced metrics. Go look it up if you don’t believe me. His last 70 yards came when the game was decided down 13-3. His QBR was 16. Rating was 57. Rams didn’t lose SB 36 because of Warner. They lost SB 53 because Goff was atrocious.
Also, Goff was a 3rd year starter that year. Basically like Warner. Was older but his 3rd year as an NFL starter. Warner has played in 3 super bowls. Won one. Goff played in 1. And was garbage in 1. We making excuses now? Have at it. - 2 Been thanked

Been watching Mevis warm up. 45-48 seems to be his most comfortable distance. He missed one 55 yarder and two 60s. (Also made a few 55 yarders.) Both 60 yarders were middle but short. One hit the bottom crossbar. 56-57 seems to be his max range. - 2 Been thanked

I'm with the side that doesn't prefer prime time games. And lets include the Trip to England to play the Jags.
My concerns are 9 Road games and that we play all 5 of our AFC opponents in the first 7 games, 3 of them on the road, 1 overseas!
The Only 2 NFC games before the bye are @ Philly and Vs SF. So the concern would be another slow start and catching up again.
SF is playing a 4th place shed and get Cleveland, Giants and Bears while we get Baltimore, Philly and Detroit.

October 23rd, 2025, 8:44 am Re: Ohtani October 23rd, 2025, 8:44 am Re: Ohtani
This is nuts. Wow. Just nuts
Argue it then.
It’s the truth.
Especially baseball. Baseball is a skill game. If steroids were a magic potion, then you’d have had tons of guys hitting 70 homers and OBP’ing over 500 in that era. But you didn’t. There was one guy doing it. And I’m not saying it didn’t help him. But he was so far above everyone else in a league that had multiple dopers it’s insane. To deny that wasn’t the greatest hitting of all time is lying to yourself. It was. Stats prove it.
And the selective outrage for baseball juicers vs NFL guys on the juice never made sense to me. Especially when they didn’t even test for it. Look at LeBron James head size from HS to now. It’s exactly Barry Bonds like. I don’t see anyone being outraged that he’s still a tank at 41 almost. You telling me he’s not on anything? And assuming he is, you are still gonna argue he isn’t one of the GOAT? Of course he is juice or not. NBA doesn’t even test for it.
Is Manny Ramirez not a hall of famer? I watched Adrian Beltre very suspiciously go from 20 HR a year to 48Hrs in a contract year. Then he went right back to the player he always was with the Mariners. He somehow made the Hall of Fame.
Steroids will never taint my opinion of players bc I only judge guys on their output. And if anything, these guys were taking a risk with their own bodies by doing it. So they took the risk, for my own entertainment and their own personal ambitions, why would it bother me?
Steroids did excel your game that much and that is the entire point
ManRam, Ramirez, is not a HOF'er because he cheated his ass off most of his career
the NFL has done a lousy job with steroid testing and I would think players would want this mandated because their lives are at stake on the field.
If you are a lot stronger that means you can swing the bat quicker and with strength comes hitting the ball harder and farther.
my guess is you never played the game...JMO of course - 2 Been thanked

January 3rd, 2026, 9:48 pm Re: Is Shanahan a Genius? January 3rd, 2026, 9:48 pm Re: Is Shanahan a Genius?
SF has a 100 mil in dead cap. Their WR1 never showed up. He mixed and matched QBs all year. They lost Warner and bosa. I’m the last guy to compliment Niners and I get that you prob hate them more than anyone, but give me a break if you don’t think he’s an elite coach. And he’s like 2-3 plays away from 2 SB wins.
Be fair.
Well local writers here just now agree with me:
“ Will the 49ers ever win it all under Shanahan? In yet another crucial game, the team just didn't perform. A lot of it came down to poor offensive playcalling, even though injuries have taken its toll. But setting the tone early by not going for 4th-and-shorts when Seattle was cruising offensively said it all. Shanahan just can't get past that hurdle.”
They are tired of being “fair” with him……..
you are showing your true hatred for the Niners and it's clouding your judgement. Those so called local writers are fuckin idiots. Sorry bro but this team is a freakin mash unit right now. Didn't perform??? They went 12-5....
Out 2 OL....Trent Williams the best LT in the game didn't even play
No Aiyuk for the year/ Pearsall out
Kittle at 60% if that..
Defense...do I really need to get into how may starters are on IR??
And I hate the Niners with a passion but even I acknowledge the fact of what he did this year. You could argue this was his best coaching job ever as the HC of this team
I hate the 49ers with a passion but I at least acknowledge the fact that he probably has done his best coaching job this year....seriously - 2 Been thanked

October 27th, 2025, 1:10 pm Re: Saints Watch. Horrrrrrible! October 27th, 2025, 1:10 pm Re: Saints Watch. Horrrrrrible!
The offense was so ineffective that starting quarterback Spencer Rattler was benched in the third quarter in favor of rookie Tyler Shough.
I thought the Jets were bad. The Tampa game was embarrassing.
Do the Rams roll this team or you do have some concerns?
Ive been around long enough to know 2 things.
1- dont bet on Rams as a favorite.
2- they play up, or down to their opponent.
Yes. I have concerns for every game they play. True, they won by 4 scores against Jax, but Jax self destructed many times on the Rams side of the field.
They "should" blow out the Saints. Kind of like how the Bills should have blown out the Falcons.
100%!! I tune into these games expecting a 3 and out from us and then for the opponent to march down the field, taking 8 minutes on dinks and dunks, to take a 7-0 lead. Wouldn't mind being wrong about that though. - 2 Been thanked

June 17th, 2025, 12:06 pm Re: Rams Re-Sign CB Derion Kendrick June 17th, 2025, 12:06 pm Re: Rams Re-Sign CB Derion Kendrick
Now I see what they did... cut him, get rid of the old contract and get him for much cheaper. Wonder what the new deal will look like. I still do not like him w us, but could be ok for back up roll.
Simply put, there is a reason why we could cut him, then sign him for much less.
The Rams saved $3.4 million in cap space by releasing Kendrick, so it’s likely they’ve brought him back on a much cheaper deal than the one he was set to play on in 2025. The terms of his new contract have not been released yet. - 2 Been thanked

Rams PFF grades: Best and worst performers in win vs. Cardinals
Puka Nacua capped off his remarkable season with yet another outstanding performance on Sunday
The Los Angeles Rams ended the 2025 regular season on a high note with a 37-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. The game was close for three quarters but the Rams pulled away in the fourth and put their opponent away with three straight touchdown drives.
Pro Football Focus handed out grades for all players who took the field, and we sorted them by best and worst (min. 10 snaps). The offense had a bunch of standout players, as did the defense, but there were some starters who still must improve.
Top 5 offense
WR Puka Nacua: 93.1
TE Tyler Higbee: 90.5
QB Matthew Stafford: 82.5
RT Warren McClendon Jr.: 80.2
RB Blake Corum: 76.5
Nacua had the highest grade on the team after catching 10 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown, also rushing for 24 yards.
Higbee was excellent in his return, catching five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. He did drop one pass, though.
Stafford had two turnover-worthy plays and one big-time throw but didn't throw any interceptions.
McClendon played well again, allowing only one pressure, which was a sack.
Corum had 13 carries for 59 yards and forced just one missed tackle.
Top 5 defense
LB Troy Reeder: 90.0
DT Kobie Turner: 89.5
NT Poona Ford: 89.5
OLB Jared Verse: 87.0
CB Roger McCreary: 78.3
Reeder played 11 snaps at the end of the game, missing one tackle and allowing one catch for 4 yards.
Turner was outstanding, recording four pressures on the afternoon with one fumble recovery.
Ford was equally good, tying for the team lead with five pressures.
Verse matched Ford and Desjuan Johnson with five pressures, including one sack.
McCreary gave up two catches for 14 yards on two targets.
Bottom 5 offense
RG Justin Dedich: 56.9
TE Nick Vannett: 55.9
C Coleman Shelton: 53.7
WR Konata Mumpfield: 51.1
TE Davis Allen: 50.5
Dedich allowed three pressures and had a 36.6 pass-blocking grade.
Vannett played sparingly, primarily as a blocker, and wasn't targeted once.
Shelton allowed two pressures but didn't give up any hits on the QB.
Mumpfield went catchless, seeing just one target in the win.
Allen was also targeted once and didn't have any receptions.
Bottom 5 defense
CB Ahkello Witherspoon: 50.3
LB Nate Landman: 49.8
CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr.: 43.3
DL Braden Fiske: 35.6
OLB Josaiah Stewart: 34.4
Witherspoon had an impressive interception but also gave up three catches for 92 yards on four targets.
Landman struggled again, recording just three tackles with one missed tackle, as well. He allowed 28 yards on three catches.
Forbes missed one tackle and gave up two catches for 33 yards on four targets.
Fiske had four pressures on only 18 pass-rush snaps, one of which was a sack.
Stewart had the highest pass-rushing grade on the team and forced a fumble on the third play of the game, but his coverage grade of 24.4 was the lowest on the team, allowing one catch for 28 yards.
Other notables
OLB Byron Young: 71.6
RB Kyren Williams: 68.2
CB Cobie Durant: 57.4
Young had three pressures, including one sack and two total tackles.
Williams forced an eye-popping five missed tackles and had 60 yards on 12 carries.
Durant missed one tackle but wasn't targeted once in coverage. - 2 Been thanked
