he will be the cowboys HC in 2 yrs IF he truly wants to come back. He really may just get a TV job and be done.

bottom line is he saw his competition and without a quality QB alternative out there he has no shot of winning

I know some are sour on Kronk, either it be the new garbage helmets and white boner uni's, or how he left St Louis and some other things... but big picture... when his guys want something, he makes it happen. Deep pockets. Not meddlesome. Low profile. Plus, he looks sharp in glasses.
Stan Kroenke is the #1 hero of the Los Angeles Rams, I'm figuring.

Without him, our team would still be in St. Louis, and quite possibly without Sean McVay as its head coach.

In St. Louis, he insisted on enforcing the stadium lease's 'top tier clause,' the city refused to meet its contractual obligation, then the franchise was free to relocate--which it did, under Kroenke's ownership.

Such a "conspiracy," acting as he was legally entitled to, LOL...!! :P 8-)

ram pathos...

He’s signed through 2024 so big compensation would be due to get him.

I have a very good friend who is a die hard Saints fan and he brought it up to me the other day still. I told him Saints fans conveniently forget about the no face mask call on Goff which would have made it 1st and goal. Funny how it slips his mind and many other Saints fans. They had plenty of opportunities to win that game and they didn't so SUCK IT PAYTON!

A combo of the following has led to this..

-No serviceable QB out there that can take you deep into the playoffs
-No Cap room
-A broken relationship with Michael Thomas after the surgery debacle during pre-season.

Will he now become the new Gruden and occupy the booth for a number of years before eventually returning as the next HC messiah.?

That was my first thought... but then I realized he and Jerry would have too much friction. Jones is an extremely meddlesome owner. A coach like Payton is NOT that type of coach to deal w that imo.

I think the type of owner many want is one like ours... He stays out of things, lets Snead do his job... here is a perfect example.

Cabo.

We all know what happened in Cabo.

Sean: "Hello sir, I am with Matt Stafford down here in Cabo, we have been talking and I really want him to join us. Can you make this happen?"...

Kronk and Snead: "Yes".

Rest is history and Stafford was pretty much a Ram before they even left Cabo.

I know some are sour on Kronk, either it be the new garbage helmets and white boner uni's, or how he left St Louis and some other things... but big picture... when his guys want something, he makes it happen. Deep pockets. Not meddlesome. Low profile. Plus, he looks sharp in glasses.

What else do you really want?.

This is why I think if he does go back to coaching, it could be the Raiders. BUT, ANYTHING can happen. Maybe Jerry and Payton get along... (until they start losing some games... then expect TMZ and little Adam Schefter to be posting the drama.

Of course, all imo.
That’s all they are talking about this morning, the big D… that would be interesting… could be a lot of hub hub…
I haven’t heard anything on da Raiders, that I think would be a better fit. He will coach again…

watch this play out. IF he goes to TV then he probably will never coach again. However he does live in Dallas and used to coach under Parcells. This is a perfect fit for the Cowboys. Moore could be getting a HC job this off season considering now there are 9 positions open. I think Jerry will let McCarthy coach 1 more yr then put big time pressure on Payton. crazy times right now
