Now that I know he is OK, I wonder if he knows what hit him.

That is great news. He plays the game like its meant to be played. True football player. Hopefully he has a full recovery.

Akers annihilated him and it was awesome until I saw him twitching -- then the celebration at my house went out the window.

Hopefully the hit doesn't interfere with his playing career, or more importantly life moving forward. That was quite the car wreck, as he brought the hit too.

Akers ‘down for the count’ gesture and ‘you’re too small’ smack talk after the whistle was unfortunate. Great play tarnished by taunting. Surprised no flag.

Akers did not realize he was severely injured initially and was obviously shaken afterwards so I'm going to give him a pass for those actions which were pretty low key but looked bad due to Baker's injury. The game had gotten really chippy at that point so I can understand Akers emotions. AD was getting held every play and was so upset he took swings at the AZ O-line guy-I was just glad he didn't get tossed. Our coaches need to do a better job of lobbying the officials to watch how the O-line holds AD as he gets a few calls here and there but literally gets held fifty times a game. He handles it well but every now and then it boils over and he gets the second guy in the fight treatment

Dont worry the Refs found a holding call, that wasn't shown on the reply.

I think Akers felt really bad about that afterwards. I could see it on his face....but in fairness, that was a hit even to violent for angry runs on GMFB this morning!!
That's the kind of lumber Jack Tatum would dish out on a daily basis to WR's back in the day.

And it's for these very reasons that Tampa are stooping so very low in desperation to try and get AD suspended for his next game. It's all over Twitter.
Talk about running scared!!
