Some questions I wish McVay would answer...
1) What in he!! is TAYLOR RAPP doing on the field in critical defensive situations?? He has no business being on the 53-man roster. Can McVay not see that Rapp is a predictable liability? Does McVay not review defense game film??
2) In critical situations, why the he!! is Raheem Morris allowed to play rope-a-dope defenses that practically guarantee that opposing teams will score and score quickly.
Finally, one more comment...the 49er coaching staff had to have been laughing hilariously after Sunday's game...Rams were SOOOO predictable on offense and defense. A good high school coach could have beaten McVay and Morris.
Crap, crap, crap.

Did we REALLY need to lose Sunday night??...I think not. Losing because you don't have the personnel is one thing....losing because your coaches have no clue to effective in-game coaching and adjustments can't be emphasized enough. Even if it takes 4 threads to point it out..

Man, I can't agree with you enough. Been saying Rapp cannot cover. I hope they find someone else cheaper and with better coverage skills next season. Again, good guy, but just not cutting the mustard. NFL is a show me league.grackler wrote: ↑January 11th, 2022, 7:17 am 1) What in he!! is TAYLOR RAPP doing on the field in critical defensive situations?? Raheem Morris...I think you said it all.
We could have had Shanahan, but interviewed McVay and hired him on the spot before we got to a scheduled interview with Shanahan. I wonder if that still bugs him and drives him to kick the Rams rear ends.
