I don't know all of the elements, but I can confidently say that those God awful uniforms do not help one bit.

It’s simply a matter of demographics. What age, sex and race make up the majority of Rams’ fans? Particularly the long time die hard Rams fans who would fill the Coliseum to capacity every game. Where are they now?

Answer…..They no longer live in California. They have moved to states like Texas, Idaho, Utah, Arizona and Florida. I shouldn’t have to go into detail of why they have left and continue to leave in droves.

That leaves corporations who buy up the season tickets, then give them as incentives to customers, clients and employees, who are casual fans, if at all. They will also sell them for a profit to the opposing teams’ fans. The rest are casual fans who buy the cheap seats for the sake of tailgating and getting drunk.

Sure, there are still great fans, like us (I moved to Utah), who attend games, but they certainly are not the majority.

Depends on what part of Missouri. I lived in missoura and I'm originally from STL. STL area were definitely Rams fans before the move and kc area were Chiefs fans. Hell, in Brookfield, mussoura, there's nothing but Chiefs fans.

The baby boomers have come to retirement age and are fleeing California by the thousands every month. The other old die hards are fed up with California and are leaving as well. Yes, it’s been going on now for the last 5 years or so. Just look at our site here. How many of you die hards live out of state? The coliseum was once a packed house of 100,000 fans. Now of if 20,000 die hard s show up, that’s a lot. The rest are just drunken fools and fans of the other team who scored great seats from a corporate season ticket holder.

I want to discuss players and coaches on my team. Not getting worked up over the color jerseys in the stadium. Niners have way more fans than us in the state. They'll always draw a ton of fans in our own stadium.

Rams have sold a ton of season tickets. People want to get top dollar resale value for it, that's up to them. Not going to upset me.

When did I say that, I said personally I'm not not getting worked up over opposing fans in the stadium. It's a topic that has been discussed ad nauseum since 2016. Rams and Chargers will have to deal with it.

The problem is we all should be worked up about it. It’s mind boggling some can’t see this if one is really a fan of this team…………..

This isn’t 2016. This team just didn’t arrive on this latest relocation. The prior “ 20 years comment prior to 2016 ” not necessarily by you but by all who state such, is just garbage sorry……………..

Most of the fans you are referring to are casual “fans” at best. They are the type that walk into a room where the Super Bowl is on and they ask, “Who’s playing?”

The fans who filled the coliseum to capacity in the 70’s no longer live in Calif.

It’s not rocket science.

The Rams in LA from the late 60s into the 80s were a very good team, at times great, but they always choked in the playoffs. Anyone who was there at the time knows many Ram fans who gave up on them.

Not many people remember this but there also were many Laker fans who gave up on them after 69, one of the most painful championship losses in LA history.

But the Lakers got their groove with Wilt and finally got over. Then Kareem and Magic brought Showtime and Bird brought the great rivalry (where the Lakers came out ahead, head-to-head championship-wise) and LA fans have never looked back.

So strike one is that the Rams never got over, no rings, well not since the early 50s, when almost every Ram fan now was not born.

Then the wicked witch stole the team from Steve and moved them to the Big A. That wasn’t a big enough slap in the face to remaining Ram fans (raises hand) so she moved them to Missouri. If you don’t understand what that knife in the back did to the SoCal fan base then I don’t know what to tell you.

The Rams have a lot of rebuilding to do in this town to build a solid, loyal fan base. McVay has them winning again but in the biggest game of his Ram career he crapped the bed. Even though the Rams were runner-up, that SB loss did a monumental bit of damage to growing the fan base for the Rams return to LA.

Only winning big will cure the crowd support problem

Were the opposing fans a factor when we were up 17-0 or only in the second half? Just checking. The HFA isn't as big a deal anymore unless you're GB with the weather. Go look at the number of home losses the playoff teams had in both leagues. 8/14 had at least 3 home losses. A few with 4.

Rams are a playoff team. If fans can't support a playoff team who will they support? When Stan was working on the move back to LA, LA fans should have said they only support the Rams the years they win the SB. I thought fans said they stopped attending bc the rams wasn't having winning seasons. Which lead to the move to STL.

The eagles didn't win a SB until just recently and their fans supported their team throughout the decades bc they were in the playoff hunt. The niners fans all showed up and the last Niners SB was prior to the Rams.

This team under McVay, including this year, have done plenty to expend the fans base effort and money, even with what they have done head to head with the Niners…………….

And I know you know this but are just beyond bleeped with how they have played against SF. I get it but it’s blinding you a bit………………

The poor Sofi attendance is a function of 21 years of LA Rams neglect and abuse to fans here in Socal.

Now, 25 years later, Socal has homies from ALL 32 friggin teams.

When I was a kin in the early 60s, LA belonged to the Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers. Those days are gone.

Rams need to rebuild a fanbase which can take 10 or more years. At least the rams dropping to 4 means very little, the rams dont have much of a home field advantage anyway.
