Actually no we are not. That was bleeping embarrassing yesterday…………SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 11:56 am You guys are getting way too worked up about this, especially Brooklyn
That is not what was being said by that population 7 years ago when they thought the team could return…………Utah Rams Fan wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 12:41 pm It’s simply a matter of demographics. What age, sex and race make up the majority of Rams’ fans? Particularly the long time die hard Rams fans who would fill the Coliseum to capacity every game. Where are they now?
Answer…..They no longer live in California. They have moved to states like Texas, Idaho, Utah, Arizona and Florida. I shouldn’t have to go into detail of why they have left and continue to leave in droves.
That leaves corporations who buy up the season tickets, then give them as incentives to customers, clients and employees, who are casual fans, if at all. They will also sell them for a profit to the opposing teams’ fans. The rest are casual fans who buy the cheap seats for the sake of tailgating and getting drunk.
Sure, there are still great fans, like us (I moved to Utah), who attend games, but they certainly are not the majority.
Exactly!BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 12:52 pmIts fitting that 2 locals dont see this as a problem.
Its exactly why our Stadium gets overrun.
HahahahaBrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 1:21 pmJust curious SoCal, were YOU getting "too worked up" about removing Jared Goff at Quarterback last season?SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 11:56 am You guys are getting way too worked up about this, especially Brooklyn
Depends on what part of Missouri. I lived in missoura and I'm originally from STL. STL area were definitely Rams fans before the move and kc area were Chiefs fans. Hell, in Brookfield, mussoura, there's nothing but Chiefs fans.
The baby boomers have come to retirement age and are fleeing California by the thousands every month. The other old die hards are fed up with California and are leaving as well. Yes, it’s been going on now for the last 5 years or so. Just look at our site here. How many of you die hards live out of state? The coliseum was once a packed house of 100,000 fans. Now of if 20,000 die hard s show up, that’s a lot. The rest are just drunken fools and fans of the other team who scored great seats from a corporate season ticket holder.NorCal RF wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 1:12 pmThat is not what was being said by that population 7 years ago when they thought the team could return…………Utah Rams Fan wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 12:41 pm It’s simply a matter of demographics. So they all moved in the last 7 years or did they flat out lie. I’ll bet the later…………..
Sorry then those are “fans” this team doesn’t need………..SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 1:45 pmI want to discuss players and coaches on my team. Rams have sold a ton of season tickets. People want to get top dollar resale value for it, that's up to them. Not going to upset me.

And same will half of the other teams in the NFL in regards to “ fans in our own stadium”. It always the Cowboys have more fans, the Packers have more fans, the Bears have more fans, yada yada yada in our state……………
Damn sad and it’s not the message that SoCal sent 7 years ago………..
But hey who cares. Hey Stafford continue practicing that silent count because you will continue to need it for home games……………….
The problem is we all should be worked up about it. It’s mind boggling some can’t see this if one is really a fan of this team…………..SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:19 pmWhen did I say that, I said personally I'm not not getting worked up over opposing fans in the stadium. It's a topic that has been discussed ad nauseum since 2016. Rams and Chargers will have to deal with it.
Why should Rams fans wish to attend a game in which there's a 95% chance that our team will 'fold like a cheap suit'?HellRam wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 12:57 pm
The Rams will have a great home crowd on Monday and they will beat AZ handily and all will be fine.
The golden state is filled with niner fans and that game in LA is thier chance to see em if you live in socal. I agree it was bad but theres no real fix to the problem. It's nothing new.
Sorry again with the population that is in Southern California, the current population, and those who state they are a fan of this team, there is enough people to fill that stadium with Rams fans 100 times over. Most of the fans you are referring to are casual “fans” at best. They are the type that walk into a room where the Super Bowl is on and they ask, “Who’s playing?”NorCal RF wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:39 pmSorry again with the population that is in Southern California, the current population, and those who state they are a fan of this team, there is enough people to fill that stadium with Rams fans 100 times over. The issue is they say they give a damn about this team but then show it by doing everything other than showing up for home games…………….
And yes I acknowledge there is a certain % that is there every Sunday or when they can’t go they make damn sure they go to another Ram fan………………
78 seriously you are better than this………….SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:27 pmWere the opposing fans a factor when we were up 17-0 or only in the second half? Just checking. The HFA isn't as big a deal anymore unless you're GB with the weather. Go look at the number of home losses the playoff teams had in both leagues. 8/14 had at least 3 home losses. A few with 4.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:15 pm Okay. So an NFL team not gaining Home Field Advantage is just fine and dandy with you, got it. As close as that game was, it can be ARGUED, that crowd advantage tipped the scales to San Francisco. We lost the 2 seed because Ram fans cant be bothered to support the team. More important to get "resale value." Got it. Boy, this really bodes well for us going forward.
The Nomad Rams.
Boy do I miss the old dark, dank, dungeon of St. Louie...
78 you actually make good points, it was the same crowd when the Rams went up 17 as it was when McVay started making crap decisions and the defense stopped making plays.
Then not targeted to you my friend, but why were you all not there yesterday if you too don’t like seeing “seas of red”………….DMRamFan wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:35 pmYou two are killing me today. Goodness...
You really think we like to see seas of red? What is wrong w you two today.
When did we ever say this wasnt a problem?
Our stadium gets overrun because for 20 years there was NO football team and PLUS when the Rams left, they sure upset a lot of people in how they did it.
NorCal asked what could possibly be done, and I gave some observations. That is it. Now I have no problem with it?
Sorry, we're lousy fans. We suck. Move to the team to Brooklyn.![]()

The fans who filled the coliseum to capacity in the 70’s no longer live in Calif.

Until the Good Guys decide to play hard, seriously trying to win vs. the 49ers, they should expect their fans to 'opt out' of watching them being humiliatingly defeated... :( :x

So if multimillionaire players can't be bothered to make any serious effort to WIN the game, why should our team's local fans be expected to expend their time, effort and money to ATTEND the game...?? :oNorCal RF wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 3:12 pmFan of the year right there……………Commish wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 2:39 pm

Rams are a playoff team. If fans can't support a playoff team who will they support? When Stan was working on the move back to LA, LA fans should have said they only support the Rams the years they win the SB. I thought fans said they stopped attending bc the rams wasn't having winning seasons. Which lead to the move to STL.
it’s was a jab at me. harkin n I are disagreeing a lot right now…………….BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 3:17 pmSo it's no problem then. No, its actually a good thing, that the opposing teams fans dominate in OUR building. Thanks for the education guys.
Again my friend it has nothing to do with effort and our team wanting it less………
Rams need to rebuild a fanbase which can take 10 or more years. At least the rams dropping to 4 means very little, the rams dont have much of a home field advantage anyway.Claremontram wrote: ↑January 10th, 2022, 4:26 pm The poor Sofi attendance is a function of 21 years of LA Rams neglect and abuse to fans here in Socal.
Now, 25 years later, Socal has homies from ALL 32 friggin teams.
When I was a kin in the early 60s, LA belonged to the Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers. Those days are gone.
