I’m not happy with the loss either…. But do you think Cards fans are, Colt fans, Saints, Ravens or whoever had something to lose. This is a very painful loss due to the Niner factor in every way but we are still division winners and have another week left, at least. If we end up in the SB, win or loss, only Ram fans will remember this game. It sucks but this isn’t Fisher ball, support our team UNTIL they are done! Don’t say crap about the Sofi attendance but you bailing in the forum. It SUCKS, I’m frustrated but we are STILL in the fight. Y’all got to Wednesday to vent, then man the “F” up! Go Rams!

Yeah that 3 & 1 empty backfield play really changed the momentum before the half. It carried over to the 3rd and 4th quarters.
And then there was the 4th quarter arm punt AGAIN!!! aaugh...

Was a bad call. Still had a two TD lead at half.

Why should anyone be concerned that his/her personal perspective on our team makes someone else feel "uncomfortable" anyway...?? :?

Sure, no problem!
If you're looking for a 'safe space' where no one will post anything that might make you feel "uncomfortable" upon reading it, you've come to the wrong place.

I too felt the 3rd and one was a bad call, and it was the turning point…
But you have to give it to that Stinking D line on that stinking JG team…
I think it was the Chargers, were in the same situation, handed it to the running back… and got blown up…
The Niners we’re doing that to us all day… I think he felt the D would hold… they didn’t. When the game was on the line, every time, they had the beef…
We played a really good game, even in the second half, made a lot of good plays on both sides of the ball. We lack the physicality to beat the Niners, Titans, etc…

"Good Morning Football" this morning was just brutal regarding Stafford and McVay.
Tough loss. Per usual.

The title of this thread is a bit misguided. Like it or not. Try being realistic. For once. The team did what they usually do in a big game environment.
Maybe you should follow your own advice. This team was built to win the Super Bowl. THIS SEASON, NOT NEXT YEAR OR THE YEAR AFTER.
This particular game was a true example of why visiting teams have so many fans in OUR building.

I just saw replays, while they were interviewing Deebo, love that name, they showed the line play for the pass to DS on the final drive, AD was about to explode on JG and was attacked by 95, right on the back…
I know a lot of no calls, but there is yet another one… a few went our way too

Just one comment you posted said the Rams are a total embarrassment to the NFC West because we are the division champs, that doesn’t even make sense. That’s nothing but crying and blowing snot bubbles, who complains over winning a Division. Next week when we blow out the Cards, you will think different

I am listening to Dan Patrick go into how the Ravens were favored to go to the Super Bowl, etc.
If you haven't noticed by now, this season is DIFFERENT. Covid, extra game, injuries.
Keep that in mind going forward because I actually feel the Rams are in the best shape they could have been EVEN with the loss.
But hey, I'm crazy that way.

It’s OK to complain about losing the biggest game of the regular season to an opponent that had won five straight after leading 17-zip.
The Niners do not win that game if the Rams had played tougher and smarter.

armyram,
The team is still paying the price for the non call in New Orleans. No way the league wants the Rams in the Super Bowl. The club is paying the price for leaving St. Louis. I have watched the team play for almost 65 years and the Rams seem to always get hosed by officials one way or another. I saw the play you refer to. However, my friend I have seen the same thing too many times before.

I think the league wants to see the Cowboys in the Super Bowl every year. Most valuable franchise and a national fanbase. Hell, the Rams don't even seem to have a fanbase in LA.

No doubt. Right before that third and 1 play, I was naive enough to believe that the Rams were going to turn the corner against Frisco finally. Back to the proverbial drawing board.

I personally think Commish would be content if we went 2-15… if those two wins were against the niners.
I don’t get comments like I’ve seen in the past 15 hours. I know it’s a tough defeat, McVay, Stafford and our D pooped the bed in the second half… it stinks. But we still are NFCW Champs.
Hopefully we learned some stuff yesterday. Season starts now.
I would like to see him and harkin get together, put their high school football uniforms on, and run into each other over and over until one is knocked out. I’d pay to see it. And then send the video to McVay and say see this is how it’s done………..
And I still actually like both of them in here even though harkin lately…………..

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses!!! I am not giving up on this team, but call it like it is, this was a critical game and both the Head Coach and the team did not come through!! There is something missing, I get the whole FAMILY thing, but does it allow it to be OK to under perform in key games? We will just move forward in the right way as McVay always says. We should expect a Super Bowl quality performance each and every game, sure we wont get that, but the 3 game fiasco and this loss have been an embarrassment on what could have been an excellent season!!! If we could have beat the Packers and Niners, we are sitting on the bye and home field!!

I understand Rammer. You know trust me, I’m broken over this last loss … and you’re right, there is a time to vent but I was directing it at some posters that say off the wall crap but they have a right to say what they feel. Saying that, look at the bright side. We won the Division, the toughest division in the league… three teams in the playoffs. Yes, we didn’t take care of business yesterday but for all those saying SB or bust. We are still on track! We accomplished what we wanted to do for the regular season. Just one game unfortunately we could of done better and put us in a better situation.

That game was not decided by the ref's....the Niners controlled the LOS on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half and the D-line controlled the LOS for the entire game.
The magic number for the Niners was 30...as in rushes...I stated this leading up to the game and then Shanahan was stating the exact same thing (little puffing my chest out there).
Rams still should have won the game....I wanted McV to throw the ball to ice the game but I understood why he opted to run out their time outs....defense just did not execute...simple

Speaking of the refs, they were a non factor. The refs actually did a good job. Was there OL holding, yes, but they allowed both teams to play. They also didn't make any petty calls.
Good job refs, you let them play.
