Nonsense. OBJ has to find that ball while its in the air.....kind of like ALL receivers do. I've noticed one thing about him. If a deep ball isn't thrown just perfect, he gives up on it. He's got to at least make an effort on a contested ball. He gave zero attempt.

I’m convinced on that last drive McVay told him to take some shots bc the last thing they wanted was a tie.
If that were a playoff game and we lost like that I’d be furious. But this situation I was fine with.
49ers have beaten us 6 in a row. You don’t want to tie the game there and play them again next week. So take a shot deep and if it’s picked so be it

Maybe OBJ didn't win deep. Looks like the defender had him covered but slowed down when the ball was thrown, while OBJ kept running. Wished OBJ stopped like the defender did and went for the 50/50 ball.

I am too. It would have looked rather bad if they go into FG range and passed on FG on 4th n long……..

McVay wanted to win outright. No one was stupid. The defense and offensive line were terrible. Can we point at the real culprits. Sheesh this has been going on since 2019 and you guys still can't see. Good teams punish us for the same reasons. Lousy D lousy OLine.

I don't deny that it was under thrown. OBJ has to notice that. The rookie defender did.

D Jack made a similar play in a underthrown deep ball. Kupp had a few too. Oh well it happens and it was a underthrow. I thought the 50/50 ball was OBJ speciality. Was hoping he would stop like the defender did and go for the ball.

I’m not making excuses, but the o line hasn’t been good all year. Maybe if we had drafted Creed Humphrey over Tutu Atwell then we could have moved some other bodies around too. Yesterday the line let Stafford down. How can you expect him to throw the ball when he has constant pressure in his face?

Stafford sucks.. he ruined us. That INT was on him 100%.. We need Goff in there and no way that would have been underthrown.. it would have been 5yds out of bounds so impossible for INT.

LOL. He shouldn’t have missed all those tackles on that drive also
