So a sample of sports talk from media here today…………

“Niners will win because they are playing a team this Sunday that is all about being flashy and they don’t know how to actually win a real football game”…………..

“Unless Sony Michel goes crazy and runs for 200 yards, which isn’t going to happen against the Niners defense, Niners win again against the Rams”………….

“What Stafford isn’t going to be Stafford and not throw his usual 2-3 picks a game? We know that isn’t going to happen”……………..

“Jimmy G knows this Rams D like the back of his hand and will show it again this Sunday. And it won’t be much different if Trey Lance starts”…………

Ill add to that some things i saw on a 9er fan blog...
"Cooper Kupp is all smoke and mirrors... Deebo is miles better than him"
"If you smash em in the mouth early they fold like a cheap tent..."
"It's just the Rams so the 9ers will be in the playoffs... book it"

Can't disagree with any of that. Unless of course, the Rams can prove different.

Talk to most Niner fans in NoCal and they won’t give you any of this, which is mostly drivel, they’ll just tell you the Niners bring their A game and the Rams for some reason bring their C and D game, that the Niners mindf**k the Rams into playing soft while they go playoff mode.

The only thing posted above you’ll hear is about smashing the Rams in the mouth early, I’ve heard that numerous times and Rams have backed it up.

Would be so nice if the Rams reverse the trend and curb stomp Frisco.

They can do it, the question is do they want it bad enough.

It’s one thing for a fan base to say such. Expected. But media who covers the team……………..

Great moment for the Rams this season revenge against the niners and sending them home. The only sad thing is I think they are the only #6 or #7 seed that could beat a TB or possibly a GB I seriously doubt the Eagles or NO could do that.

I think the Rams win 27-17.

We win because this is a better team then when we last played them. OBJ is more comfortable in the Offense same with Von on defense. The DL is really gelling. Adding Hollis into the rotation had help and finding a returner in Powell. OL is healthy and Akers is a bonus. Just need to limit the mistakes by Stafford.

Well, I certainly disagree with that comment about Cooper Kupp--hopefully he'll demonstrate otherwise on Sunday.

Recent history does validate the rest of it though... :( :? :cry:

hmmm. I can't blame them for thinking this way. This is who the Rams are whenever they play them. It also doesn't help that the Rams are not in a must win situation. It's time to make a statement. They are better than this team, just come out and out and take care of business.

Nasty 9er trash talk only reinforces our need to knock them on their ass early and often. I hope the Oline and D line are reading this stuff.

Agree with both you n oc Mike. But damn is it hard to say ok if the Niners win, like earlier this year, then that is best for Rams when you are subjected to this @#$& all the time…………..

Another beat writer on this morning and his only real knock was “ McVay’s offense has shown not to be efficient at the end of seasons”………..

He did say they have 3 DB’s on the COVID list. One being Ward. He feels Ward has been the reason in keeping Kupp in check and if he can’t play along with the 2 nickle backs on the COVID list then this will be a big deal in trying to stop the Rams………….

Rams are seeing Lance no matter what Shanahan wants the Rams to think. JG has a complete tear of the thumb ligament in that right hand as well as a chip fracture. As their beat writer said this morning JG is only playing if they “shoot” that hand up before the game Sunday and doing that will affect his ability to throw. And their run game won’t be as efficient if the QB comes out showing he is having an issue throwing the ball…………

Rams will come out as if this is for the NFC Championship. That is the intensity it will take to beat the niners. That is the intensity the niners seem to bring when they play the rams. Rams will finally match it and win this game.
