Actually it was Red Miller who coached the Broncos against Madden in 77. Reeves took over in 81 and guided the Broncos to six post-season appearances, five divisional titles, and three AFC championships.

It was quite the experience attending games at the old Mile High Stadium and watching many of Elway's comebacks with Reeves on the sideline. He's in the ring of honor at Mile High and will be missed.

Probably means both Denver and Raiders win tomorrow. And he was in ice Bowl. Packers vs Dallas in conf Championship possibly.

And here's one quietly under the radar yesterday.

Alabama native Fred Cone, Clemson and Packers star, dead at age 95 . He played on Packers and Dallas.
