Is Cam better than Michel?

Michel is a stud and has improved the offense. McVay has to use these guys effectively, something he has didi Utley doing. He give all reps to one back and then the next week he gives the bulk to a different back. Needs to substitute better.

Imo Yes with that said, Sony style and what he brings is very similar.
For all I know, this year could be the year that Sony is the better option.
I just don't know until I see alot of Cam after the injury.

Just hoping Cam isn’t pushed too hard.
We’ll need him for sure but only when he’s 100%.

Seemed to me he used Sony in the 1st quarter...Hendo in the 2nd....Sony in the 3rd...then mixed them up a bit in the 4th

Michel will be the workhorse down the stretch and in the playoffs. Doubt we see much if anything from Akers this years. He needs an off season and training camp for the coaches to figure out where he is.

What I see is McVay putting 2 guys who have 2 different styles in spots where they can excel. Of the two Henderson has better hands for swing outs or sidelines stuff.
Michel is better at waiting for the hole to open imo. He makes better cuts. He's been healthier and hotter lately averaging almost 100 yds a game.Henderson could get better- he's only 24 but I see him being moved for needs in the off season because he is the kind of physical back that doesn't have a long shelf life anymore in the NFL. Those days of a "feature back" aren't as prevalent in the NFL anymore, money is a factor.
Cam is the future. Great hands, acceleration and great cut-back ability. Just between picking him in the draft and the Michel trade which many didn't even notice, we Ram fans should be VERY happy with the Snead-McVay braintrust.
I know I am!

What happens next year, will Sony, Cam and Hendo all be back? If so, I can’t think of a stronger backfield we have ever had collectively.

Agreed. I think this is dangerously early to come back from that injury.

I think Sony is very good but not as quick as he seemed in college. Somehow Hendo seems off, breaks absolutely no tackles, one of the lowest in the league at that. I think our line, scheme and success as a passing offense lends itself to running the ball effectively.
I’d like to see us improve the position, someone who threatens the edge like vintage Gurley.
I wouldn’t mind if next year was Cam and someone better than Hendo and Sony

A healthy Gurley was better than all three. Malcolm Brown was just a bonus.
