Whats the criteria for postponing a game till Mon/Tues?

I thought last year that happened once or twice. Not sure how many starters a team can lose before it becomes a discussion point. But seems to me this gets worse before it gets better. Would suck to go in with a half a team and lose to Seattle after that win on Monday.. Browns in same boat if not worse.

Not sure if the NFL will postpone do to covid this year. I believe the team will have to forfeit.

With that said, as of now the rams should be fine. Per Mcvay all the players put on covid list were vaccinated which means they all can return after two negative tests. There is plenty of time to get those two negative tests before game day. Mcvay also pointed out that he believe that nearly all of them aren't showing any symptoms or feel sick. Rams just need to hope for no more new cases.

That has still been undecided. Pete Carroll addressed that in the press conference today. With the league owners meeting today Pete said that Rams and Seahawks are aware and monitoring the situation as it develops. Still a possibility that game is moved a couple days...

I don't think there will be a postponement. I think it will be a forfeit.

My understanding was that a forfeit was only likely if most of the infected players were unvaccinated? Rams players affected are all vaccinated.

true but don't they have to test negative twice prior to the game in order to be eligible?

Yes, they do. I would imagine if we still have 15 vaccinated players on the COVID-19 list by Friday, there may be talk of moving the game? I could be wrong.

It's astounding to me that only our reserves (outside of OBJ) are on this list this week.

Those have to be some long odds.

Browns are likely to not have a coach or QB1 this weekend.
