Special Teams coach has to go

The only part of our ST that I trust is Gays kicking. The rest of it is a dumpster fire. DeCamillas has not made us better in any way shape or form. McVay is a big all 3 phase guy when he talks to media well our ST phase is going to cost us a close game before this season is through. Return game non existent, coverage team awful, punting awful. Its a problem.

I'm not a fan of the ST coach but he had two rams players in position to make the play. The players were the issue not the coaching. What would a different coach have done? Rams needs better players on these units bc the ones they have on their cannot make simple plays like jumping on a ball and securing it.

Agree. That was just a very poor attempt at getting control of the ball by the ST player - looks like he rushed in out of control while also blocking out his teammate from securing the football. I put more blame on our subpar ST players.

He was totally out of control, just like that play against GB.
As I said last night, you shave his head before he’s allowed on the plane.

Sorry, but there have been too many of the player is in position, but cannot execute the play. Ultimately the coach is responsible to have the players prepared and this has not been just 1 or even 2 occasions. Time to invest in a top ST coach. It appears we have moved on from the Zuerlein debacle with Gay, now lets rectify the Fassel disaster, which I believe was a kneejerk reaction on McVay's part. obviously part of being a very young head coach at the time.

Seems to me like we had 2 guys going for the ball and they got in each others way. I would assume 1 guy should be collecting the ball and 1 guy should be blocking the oncoming players. I have never coached football so I am guessing I will give you that but I have seen this play before. Usually 1 player falls on ball not 2 guys on same team fighting over the ball. That to me is coaching.

Any coach will tell you that the only thing that matters is securing the ball.
Idiot came in way too hot and knocked it away, Burgess was playing it perfect.
This is the same moron vs the Packers, he should have been fined.

Pretty sure #56 is the same guy who whiffed twice on Lion's onside kicks.
Why in hell is he still on the roster≥

Could be worse folks... We could have the Packers ST... Undoubtedly the worst in the NFL and the area of their game that teams are gonna have to target to beat them cause their O & D is phenomenal.
