Consecutive weeks I've seen teams drive 15 plays on us 7 yards at a time with their offense getting ahead of the chains with plus runs on first downs . Flip side rams have run the ball 30 x in two games, 28 if you exclude kneel downs, and guys can't pick up 4th and 2 feet. You want balance and McFraud is becoming Mike Martz, but the Rams are getting killed in the trenches.
40:20 TOP difference yesterday, for real?
McFraud has been focused on offense. Build the line, get a couple blocking TEs on the cheap, get a couple cheap run stuffers it ILB.
Not everything is about receiver and pass rushers.
it's very clear to me that the Rams brain trust don't put a lot of emphasis on the OL/DL. all they care about are the shiny toys i.e. skill positions. this team is in trouble. SF in the rear view mirror and going to go by them going a 100 mph

They didn't play soft against GB...they played tough and that RB was fighting for every yard.....they were manhandled by SF but that was a different D-line yesterday.
The defense is predicated on keeping everything in front of them and that means 3rd and 5 for the offense is almost a gimmee.....I would like to see closer coverage by the DB's on 3rd and 5-7 and not play 10 yds off....that is a soft coverage defense but not a soft defense....big difference

TOP 2 to 1 will not get it done.
Fix that and stop the TO's and were are in or win these games. (except SF who we have to beat to get in)

Blanton goes about 260lbs - can he not block? Run some 2 TE sets and have him seal the edge - or fake a block and drift out for a quick screen....now.....if he can't catch and can't block, (which could be the case - haven't seen much of him to know one way or the other) remind me why they brought him up to the active roster....
