Sadly, Ive given it some thought these past few years....... and I think I AM that UNCLE!!!!! sigh.... It's kind've like the poker adage... if you cant spot the sucker, then you ARE the sucker! Hope you all have a restful and happy Thanksgiving as well! : )

Well....you don't have to crawl out of a warm bed at 3 AM and start the smoker by flashlight and have the wife running around like a crazy person barking orders at the slave (that would be me)....I have a moment of peace right now as I convinced her to take a nap...wonder if that was the sleeping pills I put in her coffee...LOL...(just kidding)
Turkey day is my favorite....Smoking a Bone in Ham and a duck, frying a turkey, and grilling Osterich steaks today.

Thanks OC....yea, we had about 15 and have alot of food left over...but Ham will be just fine putting in the freezer as I have already sliced it up. The wife wanted the Ham....I wanted the Turkey......and my brother wanted the duck and Osterich (which was delicious. I grilled it medium rare and it tastes like Filet Mignon but a little more chewey and put some horseradish on it.
The Turkey I will eat sandwiches all weekend.
We invited over anybody we knew that was alone for the Holiday and just got together...I think all had a great time and the Hi-light was watching the Dallas game with my brother, my Brother-in law, and My Marine nephew who I have not seen in about 15-20 years....My nephew and Brother-in-law are both Cowboy fans.....great game and lots of laughing.
