Runs his mouth on his podcast about how the Lakes should trade AR for Jaren Jackson Jr. Better balance for Luka (and presumably, a re-signed Bron). Adding picks as well. All this for a 6'9" "center" who would "anchor" things for Luka.
A "center" with a CAREER rebounds per game average of 5.6, roughly 1.5 a game more than AR, and 5.6 to AR's 5.2 THIS season. a center with an eFG of .529 to AR's .572 and shoots .530 from 2 pt range to AR's .588. He DOES have a better defensive rating, however, his last 3 seasons are 113, 111, 113, after 4 of his first 5 years were in the 105-107 range.
AR is 118, 117, 119 the last 3, with 119, 122, 127 offensive rating, compared to JJJ's 107, 115, 107.
Lot a Laker fans have lusted over JJJ for his "defense" for years, how he'd SOLVE the center position. Sorry, just don't see it. Also, as we see, his defense is going south. He was 106, 106, 105(DPOY #1) followed by 113, 111, 113 and only ONE time in his career has his rebounds per game average been HIGHER than 6. That is NOT what I would consider decent production from a center
Apparently his .351 three ball percentage makes him a better balance. Then we can talk about his games played average of 58 per season through his first 7 seasons
