Fyi he went over and hugged Arthur Blank after the win then he gets fired. I don't get it. Penix was out half the season, then they were stuck with Cousins. They sucked as a pass rush team last year this year 2nd in the league with 2 rookies. London out of the lineup here and there. Not consistency.

I agree with Fonteneau. He gave Cousins a super stupid 4 year deal. Not sure im a believer in Penix.

his players like him, he beat our ass, he definitely got a raw deal, when a guy wins a bunch of games in a row not just two or three to finish off the season you gotta give that guy a chance

Every coach gets fired unless you win 10/11 games. That’s basically what the NFL is.

I can't say if he's truly "good" or not. But he's definitely shown to be serviceable in my opinion. Definitely think he deserved one more year. Back to back 8 win seasons with subpar QB play isn't a sign of bad coaching in my opinion.

I was so glad they hired him away from us. Hell no we don't want him back. He was garbage. But someone brought up a good question. Do we still get a comp pick since he was a minority hire?

I think he would make a great DC for Dallas...
