Next 2 Weeks, Decides it all

Bottomline... we win the next two weeks, imo, we can take first in NFC and secure home field through out.... I am NOT looking past the Falcons or Cards, but the next two weeks is our season. I mean, imo, playoffs start this Sunday afternoon in a way.
I know there are threads about Detroit and also Seattle... but one game at a time, Detroit is first. Need to just attack Goff and not let Hutch rattle Stafford... Need Rams secondary to really stand up and LB/DL group contain Gibbs.
This is now the season. No more mistakes or pussyfooting around.
Stafford has to play small windows and tight. McVay cant get cute. Now is the time we have to be smart and some smash mouth football. Keep Lions offense off the field.
I am pumped. Mach two w my hair on fire... Let's do this.
GO RAMS!!!

Playoff Picture as of now:
https://www.nfl.com/standings/playoff-picture
AFC: I think the one thing I notice immediately is how the AFC has switched upside down.. you now have KC, Baltimore struggling to get in, and the Pats and Broncos are tops in the conference.
NFC: Seattle, San Francisco...and MAYBE the Cowboys (depends what Cowboys team shows up) are teams I rather not see in the playoffs. I actually like our chances better if Phly or GB if they have to come to Sofi... At GB and Phly... pretty even.
Rams just need to handle business.

Cowboys have zero chance at getting in barring Philly losing 3 more games and them running table. They have zero shot at a WC.

You are most likely right on.
Reason I say what I said is, Cowboys def hit a hot streak, and history shows, the teams that end the season on the hot steaks farewell in the post season...

I think our D is better than the Lions D and that will be the difference in the Game.
Both teams will score points but our D will limit their O more than they will ours.
Of course, there's no accounting for mistakes and TO's, so we'll see.
Detroit also plays in an indoor stadium which imo will offset the Rams HF advantage a little.
On paper and on tape, so far, the Rams appear much better and if they're on, 38-27 Rams sounds about right!

I don't agree that the Cowboys hit a hot streak. They benefitted from 14 flags against Philly incl 3 PI's and 10 penalties 119 yards and 3 more PI's the following week vs KC that sustained drives, put the ball in the RZ and helped them barely win both games late by 3 points..
Media Hype. This week they never got the same help and lost handily @ Detroit.
Dallas has only Chargers left that are contending and should win vs Min, @WASH, @ NYG and get to 9-7-1.
Eagles get Wash 2X, Raiders and Bills and will not choke up 3 more games.
I agree with whoever said that there is no path to a Cowboy WC birth either... too many teams to jump that would all have to crash....
their season is done.....

I like the Texans to take down the Pats if that indeed ends up being the match-up and the Bills over the Steelers.

Stop Dan Campbell on his bonehead 4th down plays and we win.

'Since Campbell became head coach, the Lions have attempted 147 fourth down conversions. 83 of them have been converted for a first down, and 13 of been converted for a touchdown. This is a 64% success rate'
He is one odd dude, 64% is not good judgment.

Green Bay seems to have the easiest final 4 .. Colts would have been a tougher match about a month ago, but now .. not looking good. QB down, Taylor has slowed

DET looks like the toughest final 4 of the batch .. that D has really backed off, and the OL is up and down. They game plan well for Goff, shown by his 70%+ .. key is stopping Gibbs, but that dude is quick. Would help is we reacquainted ourselves with our pass rush.

Tougher than Seattle, GR?
I think Seattle will be the toughest for us... if thats what you meant.
It's in Seattle, @ night (we struggle in away ngt games). BUT, we do have had Seattle's number the past few years in Seattle...
So tough call.
Detroit, we are just a better team overall imo, and it's at home at the 1pm slot. BOTH games are tough, though

No, I'm talking about for them, I think their last four games is the tougher schedule for among all those teams. We have a couple of games that SHOULD be no doubters, and two games that should be tough

Agreed, I think its gonna take at least 11 wins, maybe even 12 to get in the playoffs this season in the NFC. Im certainly glad in the least that the Rams arent likely finishing 10-7 this season.

I think the playoff spots are locked up except for:
Tampa/Carolina winner gets NFC South
Bears/Lions winner gets #3 WC.
I see Eagles, Packers, Rams, 49ers, Seahawks as playoff locks.
So among that group I’d prefer not playing at Green Bay or at Seattle. At SF wouldn’t bother me. And it looks like with the Eagles loss tonight it’s unlikely Rams have to play at Philly again.
Seattle hasn’t played a home playoff game in front of fans since the 2016 season. I feel like that’s an environment you want to avoid if you are the Rams even with Darnold as Seattle QB. Then obviously Green Bay.
If Rams get HFA, I think:
Bears= easy win
Panthers= easy win
Bucs= easy win
Lions= tougher
Seattle= win
SF= win
Green Bay= tough
Eagles= tough
So I see the only loseable playoff matchups:
Philly
Green Bay
Detroit
At Seattle
At Green Bay

We've played @ Philly 3 times in the last year and a half and should have won the last 2 AFAIC but didn't finish...
We get them at Sofi...
I think we can win anywhere but would prefer the HF route like everyone else.
Bears will be a tougher game then you think and Lions, Eagles easier.
I think their are 4 potential losable games - vs Seattle, vs GB, @ Seattle, @GB

Rams played Philly at home last year in the regular season and got blown out. It was actually the least competitive game of the 3 games. So I don’t see HFA being much in the favor there.

Given that they’ve been to the Super Bowl two years in a row I’m not counting that as an easy win anywhere. Any team could lose to them

Yes and then they played them in the divisional round and came within a Blown assignment by Center Beau Limmer in the last minute on the Eagle 13 from knocking them off.
Then game 3 this year. We outplayed them all day and lost on the last play of the game trying the winning FG that we wouldn't have needed if Karty and ST's would have been on point earlier in the game.
We get them at Sofi, we'll finish what we didn't the last 2 meetings by 2 scores at least imo.
I don't think too many of the higher ranked teams are worried about the Eagles as the top threat any longer...
