Bears now 1st in NFC (yes, the Bears)
World has turned upside down.
Rams can’t lose another game like this. Can’t believe we didn’t show up today. Beat ourselves and just wanted 1st in NFC to the Bears.
Goodness Rams, bad loss today

We didn't beat ourselves. The panthers beat us. They gashed us on the ground constantly and made every crucial play when they needed. Including 2 4th down conversions for Td and that last laser by young to ice the game on that third down. Their offense completely outplayed our defense.

Exactly. They clearly wanted it more and played a much more physical game.

Means jackshit. Look at bears schedule. You think they’re running table? 5 games left. Rams can finish 1-7. Teams all pretty similar. Rams cal also finish 3rd in division (and make playoffs).
Seattle plays this same Carolina team, Colts, Rams and Niners. Not an easy schedule at all.

Could not agree more - this was a HUGE no show by the Rams and this loss will have far reaching implications. Shula as a HC candidate? I don’t think so as his team was not ready to play AND he made no adjustments during the game including playing ZONE on 3rd and 5 @ game end ? Not a great job by McVay as he failed to sync up his team to perform on this day. We look like a wild card scrambler now like about 8 other teams.

I’m more concerned w Seattle and San Fran. They keep winning.
Bottomline…We can’t lose again.
Bears schedule tells me they won’t last at the one spot…

Re: Bears now 1st in NFC (yes, the Bears)
I think the 49ers concern me the most in passing the Rams. I could see the Rams losing in Seattle which would bring them to 4 losses. 49ers only have 4 games left (3 at home) and thus could win out and they’d own the TBer. They’d need to win at Indy which is doable.
Bears/Packers/Seattle/Eagles given their schedules I see them ending up with more losses than the Rams

Over half of our team's wins (five) came vs. AFC competition, so the Rams will almost certainly lose any conference-record tiebreaker...

Re: Bears now 1st in NFC (yes, the Bears)
Of course, over 55 previous seasons featuring NFL 'wild card' playoff berths, the Rams have never reached the Super Bowl as a 'wild card' team and have only once reached the NFC championship game as one...SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑November 30th, 2025, 1:01 pm

I"m not concerned about the Bears - their remaining schedule is brutal. If they end up as the 1 seed, they deserve it.

This, at least three of next six games are against very good teams.
