We keep getting better

We still haven't played a complete game yet. I feel like we could get to the QB if we had improved CB play. Is there anyone out there we can bring in to help this unit out? Asante Samuel? Our special teams are not special at all. Glad we made some changes but Blackburn still needs to be fired.
With that being said, I think we have played our best ball the past two weeks. If we can pull one off against the Seahags next week, we will take control of the division. We might even have a shot at a first round bye if we keep up the momentum and stay injury free. I'm worried about Devante. He looked like he got injured late in the game today. I guess we will know for sure in a couple of days.

Bad boy why do you think it was on secondary to get to QB? I was shocked we consistently used a three man rush. Jones was never really under pressure entire game. If you asked me I thought as a unit the secondary played well today. Minus the blown coverage late in game when Kittle scored. But that could have been on the linebackers.

Forbes is definitely improving, and Lake is a force.
Mac Jones gets the ball out so quickly, esp when throwing to someone like Kittle. He’s better than Purdy. Maybe they figured it was better to not potentially waste a body in the backfield with the football already gone. I don’t know. Zero sacks was surprising.

I don't. But it's called coverage sacks. You know when the QB has nowhere to throw the ball and the defense has more time to get to the QB. We were very close several times today but we just needed another second or two to get there. Our D line was not applying enough pressure for sure but if our DB's could slow receivers down a little, it might give our line a little more time to get the rush going.
Good passing teams have thrown all over us this year. The Eagles, Colts and 49ers have all exposed our weakness. We have a bunch of average guys back there but we just don't have anyone capable of shutting down a WR. Lake is our best DB. Forbes is making strides but he still isn't there yet. Neither is Durant. And Williams is too small to cover big receivers. And why can we never cover a TE? I love what Landman has brought to this D but it would be nice to see a LB who could run with a TE.
