they are competitive they play in a relatively weak division, but some of the weaker teams like the Jets and the Saints have strung together a few wins so the Falcons at 3-6 while competitive are in the mix

So nice to see the Rams being a Super Bowl contender, while still being in the mix for a top 3 overall pick.

Go Rams and whoever's playing the 9ers, Hags, Cards and Falcons!

Should be able to grab the best kicker or long snapper available next season.

That’s the best 3-6 team I’ve ever seen

There’s 7 teams with worse records than them. I doubt they come close to the top 5 even.

Plus they have an easy schedule with quite a few possible wins:

Panthers
Saints 2x
Jets
Cardinals

We will probably trade out of the first round (TWICE!) anyway so what difference does it make? I think McSnead is afraid to make a high draft pick because they will be scrutinized more if it doesn't hit. Picking later gives them an easy excuse if they don't get it right. Just imagine if they had as much success in rounds 1 and 2 as they do in rounds 4-6.

Damn. You're a genius to know all of that huh?

They’re not finishing that bad. Still have some shitty teams on their schedule. But they’re not a playoff team. At worst that means 17th pick. I would say this pick falls in 12-15 range. End of day nice trade.

I think that's absurd. Aside from the fact that they nailed both Verse, Fiske, and even Fergie is looking like a player, can you imagine Snead and Mcvay talking draft day 2026?

"Hey, we're on the clock, our franchise QB is still there"

"Nope, I don't want to have to explain to the fans if he doesn't pan out, and I'm tired of reading the complaints on the Rams message board!"

When comparing how many players they have that were drafted in 4-6 you have to remember. They take 1 player in rd 1. Some years they've drafted a half dozen players in 4-6. Of course there's going to be more of them.

this is the one thing I am worried about. IF they do trade out of ATL's pick they better get a lot for it

if I was in the franchise quarterback business I would trade out too, there's nobody who stands out, a lot of bad teams still need quarterbacks, hopefully some of these bad teams will reach in the 2026 draft, if we trade out, they will make very good trading partners in 2027, if Stafford keeps this up I doubt he quits given the historical significance of another season or two, especially if the team looks like they can make it to the big dance

So as silly as it may sound now trading both might make sense, 2027 we have all we need to get the top pic

you don't have to draft a QB. I do think there hasn't been a QB in college this year that has stood out. But they need impact players in other positions.
