I could not watch the game. I see that he had 7 tackles. Can any of you tell me how he played? Did he possibly take a step towards starting?

to me, he looked way more stable than reeder, to me it seemed like he played less, but his stat line was way better, at least he made plays

PFF graded him 2nd best player on Rams D behind Lake.

2 - Shaun Dolac, MLB: 84.2
Omar Speights has been a problem area of late for the Rams defense. They were forced to make a change at linebacker because Speights was inactive due to injury.

Dolac might have just won Speights’ job moving forward. The rookie UDFA split time with Troy Reeder before taking over most of the snaps late (Dolac played 35 and Reeder 30). Dolac posted a near-elite overall grade and fared well in run defense (81.4) as well as coverage (68.0). He did not miss a tackle.

I think so. He might be a tad slow but he is always around the ball and has great tackling skills. I see him starting next year unless we draft a stud out of college to put beside Landman. At the very least I think he will move into the #3 spot above Speights after another year under his belt.
