special Teams is terrible

red zone is a joke

mental mistakes galore

he's more than good enough to squeak into the playoffs or be about 500 but is he getting to the next level?

Yes he has.

No....

He's always been overrated as a play-caller.

But the Rams are 4-2 with a few mishaps on special teams from being 6-0.

This is a top 6 or 7 team in the league at worse case.

I have to agree. His overral record is still good but the last 3 years are nowhere near as good as the first 3-4 years.

I mean the team is basically the same as it’s been the last 3 years. Probably going 10-7 for 3 years in a row.

McVay is the new Mike Tomlin. Never has a horrible team but never great either

I’m not sure if he’s regressed or just lost his damn mind this season. Whatever is going on, he needs to get back to his basics.

His situational pay calling certainly has regressed.

I'd be happy if he starts holding people responsible

Stafford off early again, which cost the rams at least 10 points. (This has to be fixed)
Adams keeps dropping passes, cost the rams at least 7 points. (What is wrong with Adams hands)
Special Teams sucks (cost the Rams 3 points)

Secondary was better today, but that might be bc of the Ravens O

KW played great today. (Improved)
Corum was solid. (Improved)

There’s really nothing he can do about Stafford or Adams. They are vets and McVay can’t bench either. Plus Stafford overall has had a really good year. With Tutu and possible Puka out, I think Adams will keep getting balls.

The only adjustments I see McVay being able to make is using Ferguson more in the red zone. And don’t see them cutting Karty till they have a guy in mind to sign which I think is Tucker.

Stafford and Adams mistakes alone is at least 10 points. I agree you cant bench them. They have to work their way through their issues

Gotcha. Was in Church this morning and didn’t start watching till halftime (although I may or may not have peaked a little in on the game in service 😬)

How many points did Adams, Stafford and Karty Cost us today? (Maybe I should adc Sean McVay in there, too)

Karty was 3 or maybe 6 bc Mcvay lost faith in him and didnt go for the fg in the 4th.

Mcvay gets the total blame bc he is the HC

So at least 16 points all together

Oh the refs cost the rams 7 on that fumble :)

ST the answer is easy get a new ST coach………

McVay is making bad decisions at critical times with his play calling most weeks. Today another example with not kicking the FG to go up by 17 as well as handing the ball to Willingham that last play instead of just giving it to Williams again. Did we not see what Baltimore did handing it to Flowers when Henry was starting to get it going again in 2nd half?

I’m not sure who in the organization can take McVay aside and say Sean look you continue to out think things when there is no need but someone needs to. He isn’t seeing it on his own………

Good grief

McVay has been the same coach.

Stafford with some bad passes and Adam's with butter fingers.

Fix that and all is good.
Stafford misses and Adams drops cost the Rams at least 10 points and Karty missed fg is at least 3

Those cleaned up, Rams win 30 to 3

sad part is he won't give us an honest answer on why he didn't kick the FG. I think he always tries to be the smartest guy in the room and a lot of times he isn't. just ridiculous

He isnt going to throw his players under the bus. There aren't many coaches who do. Even Andy Reid doesnt. He just says he has to put guys into a better position to win and times yours.

He said the bolded part below. I dont disagree with that. Stafford and Adams did cost the rams at least 10 points. That would have made the score 27 to 3.

It really should have been a 30-3 win, and Verse should have had a 99-yard fumble return for a TD.

But they didn’t lose! So that’s progress. What will the situational calls look like next week?
