Ummmm, it was addressed by the Rams acquiring Nate Landman, drafting Chris Paul Jr. and signing Shaun Dolac.

Landman has performed quite well, Paul didn't make the team and for some reason Dolac apparently is listed behind Troy Reeder. It seems to me that Dolac must be seriously underperforming during team practices, since he seemingly can't beat out Reeder for the #1 backup spot at ILB behind Landman and the injured Omar Speights.

Let's just hope that Speights will return to our team's defensive lineup very soon... :-o

Landman was a great find but everyone else was garbage sorry. when I say address I say use high draft capital or high valued free agents. they did not do that.

Reeder forced a fumble but the play was called back due to penalty.

Didn't see game. Was Dolac not good? Had more tackles than Reeder. Please fill me in on your observations.

JMO but Reeder was his typical awful in the first half. Never in position to make a play………

2nd half I thought he played better but we are talking about him. Watching replay will tell me more…….

Dolac from what I saw live wasn’t perfect but was around the ball a lot. Again first real time at ILB. He would not come off the field n play with Landman until Speights came back……….

Dolac brought great aggressiveness and had some impressive tackles, including tackling Henry. I can’t help but wonder if Reeder will be phased out after Speights returns and Neal gets more of a chance. Reeder’s special teams work is not enough to justify his roster spot.

That was a special teams play, exactly where he belongs.

So you're dismissing a free-agent rookie as 'garbage' after only his sixth game in a Rams uniform, which was the first one in which he had substantial playing time, is that it? According to the accounts I've read, Shaun Dolac showed decent potential and performed better vs. the Ravens than Troy Reeder, whom Sean McVay nonetheless has playing ahead of him.

Acquiring a top-notch starting performer (Nate Landman) and a promising rookie backup (Dolac) at the ILB position strikes me as 'addressing' it, that Landman was signed rather inexpensively salary-wise and Dolac was acquired without expending any draft capital, that seems advantageous for our team.

So if the Good Guys had been required to pay Landman 50% more in salary and had expended a third-round draft selection on Dolac, would that somehow have been better? I'll go by the results on the field, which to me are demonstrating that thus far the Rams' ILBs as a group are considerably improved over last season... :) :!:

I don't know what's going on in practice but I do know what I see with my own two eyes and Dolac outplayed Reeder today. I think the problem is that McVay just likes to redshirt rookies. He's barely played Ferguson this year and what about our RB 3?

I like Landman a lot and think they got a steal....
Dolac looks promising so time will tell....did not include him in the garbage comment
Let's see how it plays out this year.
I know you can't address every position but going into the draft last yr CB/LB/OL were the 3 top needs....Rams did absolutely nothing to address CB and OL. They stole Landman for sure...Jury is out on Dolac IMO.

They need to open up the wallet and pay Landman now.
