Sounds like Purdy had a small setback regarding his toe. I think I would rather face Purdy than Mac Jones. (This could just be a ploy to make Rams prepare for both QBs.)

Unless Mac Jones’s knee has gotten worse, I hope that it’s Purdy Thursday. He hasn’t looked good, and Jones might be a better QB under Shanahan. He’s a better passer anyway. (I’ve also not seen Purdy in any Toyota commercials this year. He used to be in so many ads.)

It was absolute garbage. I think Bama gets in our head. I told my friends 3 weeks ago that UGA will never win a championship as long as Bobo is our OC. I love Kirby, but one of his faults is that he is too loyal to coaches and QBs. (I know we all like back up QBs, but our backup (Puglisi is night/day difference watching him throw the ball.)
I wasn't able to watch most of it. I had to go to a wedding. I was able to watch parts on my phone when everyone was on the dance floor.

I watched the Jags game and CMC did not look the same running the ball.
There is a whole thread on it already but things will get a lot worse for SF. Once they see their 3-0 record evaporate to 3-3 they will go in full meltdown. I just looked at their schedule and see them going 9-8.

Thanks. I’m out of the loop though for the next 10 Days. I see a lot of niner fans roaming around here in central cal. Irritating.

I would love to see the Rams shut that fan base up.

I looked it up and the Jags have 13 Takeaways already and 4 giveaways. That explains why they're 3-1. They're not really blowing anybody out either with that advantage. Even lost to Jake Browning and the BenGals. They won the TO battle @ SF 4-0 yet had to hang on at the end for the W.
When we play them in London weekend after next, all we got to do is not turn it over and we should be able to handle them pretty good.

McCaffrey didn't look the same running the ball against Jax. He's hovered around 50 yards a game on the ground and actually has more yards receiving. I don't expect that to change with all those other guys out. Their new TE Tonges has looked good but they will need more than CMC and some backup tight ends. We all have bad memories of the Niners but I honestly don't know how they beat us without us beating ourselves (turnovers, penalties). I hope they stay laser focused and beat the shit out of them. They got a little too cocky against the Eagles and celebrated too early.
I think it will be close in the beginning because SF still has a good D. If we can avoid turnovers and pound on them with the run, we'll open it up in the 2nd half and never look back.

A few people have said Jones will have a rebirth with SF but I don't see it. He's already on his 3rd team and he's gonna get rocked tonight.
