You don't pay a guy $10M to sit around.
My thought is that, in the same way the Eagles yesterday faked a tush-push and handed the ball to Barkley for a TD to the outside, the Rams will also surprise teams with getting Tutu the ball in certain situations.

you could see they were not prepared for tutu, don't forget the PI call before the td, he's too quick and you have to double Puka so you don't get safety help with tutu
he's very valuable for this reason

Not for nothing.....the DB did trip himself and fall down, leaving him wide open. It did look like Tutu was gonna be open anyways with his speed. And that was a great pass, and Tutu catches everything. Great hands- and his speed made it look easy. He was in 2nd gear running away from the S.

agree with everyone's take. there definitely is a place for him on this team and hopefully Stafford now knows this.

I am extremely happy for this man. He has worked hard and been overlooked far too long. I have questioned this $10M signing because we never throw him the damn ball. Now, he gets it and hes like a rocket.
His speed is something we have to tap in to. I sure hope Stafford starts to see him more, as Matt seems to zone way too much in on just Puka imo

If we can use Tutu a little bit more than do now, that's another dimension to the offense that the defense has to stop, which would be hard to. Dude is a speedy little mfer, and we need to take full of advantage of that skill set. If more guys can get involved in this offense, we'll be even more hard to stop.

Last year, the long ball to Atwell was huge in beating SF. Hopefully there will be more of that this Thursday, but in a crushing win, not a comeback win. I think that as the interior O line gets stronger, there will be more time to throw deep to Atwell.
