The Rams’ decision to extend wide receiver Tutu Atwell with a one-year, $10 million fully guaranteed contract in March 2025 raised eyebrows among the Rams fanbase. IMO with Nacua/Adams- this would be a great time to unleash some deeper routes with Tutu. Those 3 on the field are a handful for a defense. I don't have the luxury of watching film, but I bet Tutu has been open a bunch and not had ball come his way. But those 3 on the field can make it easier for #9 to hit him deep with a good play design. Let's see it.

I think a bit of both, but honestly, rather trade him and give his snaps to Whit .. maybe some to Xavier.

I don't think you're getting much in return, maybe a 5th at best, but frankly I think he needs a fresh start somewhere if he's going to have any shot at a real career. He's not valued here.

Which is surprising because McVay in the past loved running those ridiculous flag football "trick plays" that rarely worked. So ya, I think McVay has smartened up a bit with his playbook, because I haven't seen any of those terrible trick plays so far this season.... Which has also come at the expense of TuTu, which is fine by me.

DV22 good point I forgot about all the trick plays Rams use to run. Also wasn't it common to do fake punts and run for 1st down.

I think this topic has been hammered to death. It's quite obvious to me he isn't a main player on this team.

Tutu has dropped to 4th on the depth chart according to ESPN. Jordan Whittington is our 3rd WR. Resigning Tutu was a waste of money. We could of used the money towards a DB...

I'll say it again. I'd pick up the phone and try to trade him. Perhaps the Chiefs?
