IMO important that the Rams go into week three 2-0. The team will have confidence.

Rams were 1-4 at the bye last year and made the playoffs………
Rams were 3-6 at the bye in 2023 and made the playoffs………..
We have this dooms day we have to win this game in September and October or else in here every year……………

Important Rams go 2-0 per JS. Him n I have been in here a while to where respectfully I will again say it is not. Would it be good? Yep. But no game is ‘important” in week 2. And NFL players are confident. A week 2 win or loss doesn’t change that.

Don’t want to think about week 3 per you. Certainly entitled to say that but why? It’s week 3. Guarantee Rams are not concerned about going to play Philly next week. In fact I bet they can’t wait……………

Agree with you. Every game is important. I do think it is very important to win the games that we are supposed to win though. Last year we put ourselves in a bind when we lost to the Bears and Dolphins. This weekend is not a must win but 2-0 start will be much nicer than a 1-1.

I agree for the most part other than…….

Suppose to win games. Not sure how one can determine those games based on the balance of the league. I look at it as this particular group with this HC can win any game anywhere. Will they? No. But to think we won’t go into Philly n win next week or anywhere else I don’t get. I also realize from watching the league as long as I have that the Any Given Sunday” is real……..

Oh, I agree and understand what you are saying. We do know what games we should win though...where we clearly are supposed to be the better team. In this case, I consider TN as one of those teams we should beat. On paper we are better, point spread is 6 points, etc. If we don't bring our A game this week we can lose.

Well, I'm not happy when the Rams are playing 'behind the curve' and desperate to catch up, needing a winning streak to get into playoff contention.

Not that I don't appreciate such winning streaks by our team, however I would still prefer to have the Good Guys playing 'ahead of the curve' throughout the season.

That's considerably less stressful... 8-) :!:

RAM POWER!!

We are going to beat the Titans senseless; we will be 2-0.

This team needs to develop its collective swagger; it starts by winning when we are supposed to.

Protect stafford; catch the damn ball; rack of some YAC; RBs better increase their productivity; time for Verse to start sacking the QB; go Whit go!; Puka and Adams keep it going; Oline suck it up and stay on the field.

I think if we can limit the injuries we can win 3-4 of the 5 games. Current OL issues can be mitigated by Limmer and Dietrich and quicker timing routes and more balance run to pass. We started out passing in the Texan game too much imo no balance. If we want longer developing routes we must chip or keep a TE and RB in creating 6-7 players in protectIon. This serves two key purposes.

1. With a less cohesive OL it gives Stafford more protection
2. The extra protection is insurance on Stafford getting blindsided or hit unecessarily protecting our most valuable asset.

McVay and LaFleur must be super smart in protection of Stafford. Even if we need to sacrifice an extra TD so the scores are closer. We got rocked by OL injuries last season we must be smart here.

So you're suggesting the Rams should protect Stafford over winning the game? This is the NFL. Next man up. You trust these Professional football players to do their job, especially with the $ they're paid. No way you sabotage the team or season playing it soft and safe. You're act calls for less playmakers making it easier on the D to cover who's running routes or the ball.
